Arusha- Tarangire- Mto wa mbu

On your first day, our driver-guide will pick you up from Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha Airport, or your hotel in Arusha. The journey to Tarangire National Park takes about 2.5 hours (115 km) and offers beautiful views of Tanzania’s landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival, begin your first game drive through Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s best safari destinations. After a picnic lunch at a scenic site inside the park, continue with an afternoon game drive. Tarangire covers approximately 2,850 square kilometers and is defined by the Tarangire River, the park’s only permanent water source during the dry season. This makes it a haven for wildlife, attracting large herds of elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and countless bird species.

In the late afternoon, you will head to Fanaka Lodge and Campsite, where you can relax, freshen up, and enjoy dinner prepared by your private cook.
