Wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River, the park’s only permanent water source, creating prime opportunities to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephant herds that can number up to 6,000.

Day 2
Ngorongoro crater
Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast, set out for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of unforgettable game viewing. Known as the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on Earth, this natural wonder is home to more than 25,000 animals and one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.
This is one of the best places in East Africa to spot the Big Five lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo all in one place. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and often called the 8th Wonder of the World, Ngorongoro offers a breathtaking mix of landscapes, from mountain forests and woodlands to open grasslands, lakes, and swamps.
Enjoy a hot lunch at a scenic spot within the crater, then ascend the crater rim in the late afternoon. Return to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 3
Lake Manyara to Arusha
Lake Manyara to Arusha
After an early breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation and transfer you to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of wildlife viewing. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch amid the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. Following an afternoon game drive, you’ll be transferred back to Arusha Airport, concluding your safari adventure.
Though relatively small, Lake Manyara National Park is packed with wildlife across its 330 square kilometers (127 square miles), much of which is covered by the lake during high water. It’s a paradise for bird watchers and offers excellent chances to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, warthogs, baboons, and, if you’re lucky, the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.
You’ll also have the opportunity to stop at the hippo pool, stretch your legs, and safely observe these massive creatures in their natural habitat.
