Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

Today we will pick you up from Arusha Airport or from Kilimanjaro Airport and drive you to the Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.

Tarangire landscape is incredibly diverse with a mix that is not found anywhere else on the northern safari circuit. It is dotted with ancient baobab trees, which the Maasai people believe are the first tree in creation, and large termite mounds. The dry season sees the harsh sun suck the moisture from the landscape, baking the earth a dusty red while the wet season brings dense bush and luscious high grasses.

In the late afternoon, you will drive to your campsite located outside the Tarangire National Park where you will spend the night.

Your overnight stay will be full-service camping, outside Tarangire National Park.

Dedicate an entire day to immersing yourself in the wonders of the Serengeti, exploring its vast landscapes and observing a diverse array of wildlife. This remarkable habitat is home to an abundance of animals, including impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos.

However, its fame is largely attributed to the spectacular annual migration of vast herds of zebras and wildebeests. The migration path is influenced by rainfall and varies from year to year.
