Along the way, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater before descending towards the vast Serengeti, arriving around midday.

Full-Day in the Serengeti National Park - The Wild

You will spend the entire day discovering the wonders of the Serengeti, exploring its diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. The park is home to an impressive variety of animals including impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, but it is most famous for the massive herds of wildebeest and zebras that take part in the Great Migration. Their journey follows the seasonal rains and changes from year to year, creating one of nature’s most dramatic spectacles. Beyond the migrating herds, the Serengeti also offers excellent chances to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site, formed millions of years ago, is approximately 600 meters deep and spans roughly 260 square kilometers. Boasting a dense animal population of around 25,000, the Crater offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Tanzania.

You will arrive at the Crater rim in time for lunch, then descend into this remarkable ecosystem. Almost immediately, you may spot wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and elephants, as well as some of the more than 500 bird species that call the Crater home. Stone Town is the old city and cultural heart of Zanzibar and little has changed in the last 200 years. It is a place of winding alleys, bustling bazaars, mosques and grand Arab houses. Stone Town has brought together many different elements of the cultures of Africa, the Arab region, India, and Europe over more than a thousand years. Diving, snorkelling, fishing and other water sports are the main attraction here. From Nungwi, frequented dive sites are mainly down the east coast or to Mnemba Island and reefs near Tumbatu Island. For swimmers, Nungwi's local geography and tidal pattern mean swimming is possible at any time. Other activities available include yoga, cycling and guided tours of the village.
