Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will take a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, where our safari crew will meet you upon arrival. From here, you will head straight to Tarangire National Park for the start of your 2-day luxury safari to Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees, and it lies at the heart of a migratory route hosting thousands of elephants, wildebeest, and zebras.

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, which plunges over six hundred meters deep. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and large African elephants. It is also known for its high concentration of predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. We will also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the crater’s southwest, often alive with flamingos, hippos, and other water birds. In the afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha and take a flight to Zanzibar, where your safari ends.
