Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be greeted by your driver or tour representative holding a sign with your name. After assisting with your luggage, they will transfer you directly to your hotel in Arusha. The drive typically takes 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic and weather. On arrival, check in and settle into your hotel to rest and prepare for your safari.

Arusha - Ndutu/southern serengeti

Depart Arusha after breakfast in your private 4×4 safari vehicle. Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley and Karatu highlands, stopping for a picnic lunch en route. Descend into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing Maasai villages and stopping at lookouts for breathtaking views. Arrive in Ndutu by late afternoon for your first game drive across the lush plains dotted with wildebeest herds before settling into your tented camp or lodge for dinner.

Full day southern serengeti

Rise early for a full day on the Ndutu plains. During calving season, you’ll be surrounded by newborn wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, and predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas that follow the herds. Your experienced guide will position you for incredible predator-prey encounters. Return to camp for lunch and some rest before heading out again for an evening drive, capturing the golden sunset over the plains.

Ndutu

Begin your final safari day with a leisurely breakfast, then set out for a short game drive as you exit Ndutu, enjoying any last wildlife sightings. Continue your journey to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your adventure.
