Day 1

Your safari begins with an early pick up from your hotel and departure from Arusha, heading north through diverse landscapes and remote Maasai villages on a scenic drive to Lake Natron.
The journey takes you into one of Tanzania’s most unique environments, surrounded by volcanic scenery with the imposing Ol Doinyo Lengai, the “Mountain of God,” standing tall in the background. On arrival, check into your mid-range tented camp and enjoy lunch before exploring the lake’s shores.
Lake Natron is famous for its flamingo population, which turns the shallow waters pink with their presence. In the afternoon, embark on a guided walk to the lake edge, where you may spot flamingos and learn about this alkaline lake’s fascinating ecosystem.
Later, enjoy a short hike to a nearby waterfall for a refreshing swim in natural pools. As the sun sets, admire the surreal colors of Natron’s landscape before returning to camp for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 2
Northern Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart from Natron and make your way toward the Serengeti, entering through the northern region, renowned for its dramatic scenery and seasonal migration crossings.
The drive is an adventure in itself, offering glimpses of wildlife and sweeping savannah vistas. Upon reaching the Serengeti, settle into your lodge or tented camp before beginning an afternoon game drive. This area is world-famous between July and October when the Great Migration herds cross the Mara River, pursued by crocodiles and predators.
Even outside migration season, the region is home to large prides of lions, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, and abundant birdlife. Spend the afternoon exploring this wildlife-rich environment, following the Mara River’s course, and soaking in the wilderness.
As evening approaches, return to camp for dinner under the stars, reflecting on the raw beauty of one of the world’s most iconic safari destinations.

Day 3
Central Serengeti National Park
Central Serengeti National Park
Wake up to the sounds of the wild and enjoy breakfast before setting out on a game drive en route to the central Serengeti.
Known as the heart of the park, this region offers endless rolling plains dotted with acacia trees and rocky kopjes, making it a prime area for year-round game viewing. During the drive, expect to encounter herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, buffalo, and perhaps even leopards resting in the trees.
Arrive at your mid-range tented camp in the central Serengeti and have lunch before heading out for an afternoon safari. This area is renowned for its predator population, especially lions and cheetahs, often spotted hunting in the open plains.
The golden Serengeti sunset provides an unforgettable backdrop as you return to camp in the evening. Dinner is served in the camp’s cozy dining area, where you can share stories of the day and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the wilderness.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive as you leave the Serengeti behind and journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Along the way, spot more wildlife and enjoy scenic views of the vast plains. Arrive at the crater rim and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s natural wonders. Inside the crater, discover an incredible diversity of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and the elusive black rhino.
The crater floor’s soda lake attracts flocks of flamingos, while the surrounding woodlands are home to warthogs, hyenas, and hippos wallowing in the pools. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the crater before continuing your game drive.
In the late afternoon, ascend back to the crater rim and head to your lodge outside Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and overnight, surrounded by misty forested landscapes.

Day 5
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a park often overlooked but one of Tanzania’s hidden gems. On arrival, begin your game drive through landscapes dotted with towering baobab trees and sweeping grasslands.
Tarangire is especially famous for its large elephant herds, which gather in impressive numbers around the Tarangire River. The park is also home to giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, leopards, and more than 500 bird species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your exploration.
The changing terrain and wildlife variety provide a unique contrast to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, offering a final memorable safari experience. By late afternoon, you’ll depart the park and return to Arusha, where your safari concludes with drop-off at your hotel in Arusha.
This marks the end of your 5-day journey, leaving you with incredible memories of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes.
