Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing, drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hours). The park is famous for its giant baobab trees, large herds of elephants, and diverse wildlife including lions, leopards, giraffes, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. In the late afternoon, drive to your mid-range lodge/tented camp inside or near the park for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This UNESCO site offers one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Africa, with high chances of spotting the Big Five in a single day. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending in the afternoon. Drive back to Karatu for relaxation and overnight.
