You will be warmly welcomed by our professional driver guide upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. With a friendly smile and signboard in hand, he will assist you with your luggage and escort you to your private vehicle. From there, you’ll enjoy a comfortable drive to Arusha for your overnight stay, where you can relax and recover from your journey.

If the skies are clear, you may be lucky enough to catch your first glimpse of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro right from the airport a breathtaking sight and a perfect welcome to Tanzania. The journey from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha takes approximately one hour, covering a distance of about 50 kilometers.

Scattered across these plains are dramatic granite rock formations known as kopjes, which rise like islands and provide shelter and hunting grounds for predators such as lions and leopards. As you drive with your expert guide through this rich ecosystem, your chances of spotting the Big Cats in action are high, especially from the comfort of your open-roof safari vehicle. On your final day in Tanzania, you’ll travel in comfort aboard a safari vehicle to explore the lush landscapes, waterfalls, and cultural treasures of Materuni Village. Nestled at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, this charming village offers a rich experience with the Chagga community. You’ll visit their cultural centers, learn about traditional life, and take part in a hands-on coffee tour from bean to cup. Afterward, embark on a short hike to the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls, where the cool mist and scenic views provide a refreshing escape.

Later, you’ll head to the enchanting Kikuletwa Hot Springs famous for its warm, crystal-clear waters surrounded by lush fig trees. It’s the perfect spot for a swim, relaxation, and reflection after your adventure-filled days. After this rejuvenating experience, your guide will transfer you back to Arusha or to the airport.
