Day 1

Your private safari begins at dawn in Morogoro, with your driver-guide collecting you from your hotel early morning.

The journey to Mikumi takes you through scenic countryside and the foothills of the Uluguru Mountains, offering glimpses of daily village life along the way. Upon arrival at Mikumi, you enter the park for a full-day exploration.

The morning game drive takes you across the Mkata floodplain, famous for its high concentration of wildlife including elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and predators like lions resting under acacia trees. Around midday, you stop for a picnic lunch at a designated spot, enjoying views of the park’s vast savannah.

In the afternoon, you continue your adventure in different habitats, searching for elusive leopards, hyenas, and rich birdlife such as hornbills, rollers, and eagles.

As the sun dips low, painting the sky golden, you exit the park and drive back to Morogoro, arriving by early evening, tour ends at your hotel in Morogoro.
