Day 2

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive toward Lake Manyara National Park, a small but stunning park set between the Great Rift escarpment and its glittering lake. Look for elephants by the shore, flamingos painting the water pink, and tree-climbing lions stretched across branches. Midday brings a delightful lunch inside the park, surrounded by birdsong and forest. Later on continue to Karatu, arriving at Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight.

An early start takes you to the Ngorongoro Crater, Nature’s Bowl an ancient volcanic crater where walls rise high around a world of wildlife. Lions, elephants, and rhinos share this unique sanctuary, one of Africa’s most famous landscapes. Often called the 8th wonder of the world. Descend into this vast bowl where animals gather in one of the most beautiful settings on earth. Spot zebras, wildebeests, elephants, and perhaps the rare black rhino. Midday brings lunch inside the crater. Later, Drive onward into the Serengeti, where wide open plains greet you with herds and predators alike. Arrive at Into Wild Africa Camp, a tented camp in the heart of the wild, for dinner and rest.
