After breakfast, set off for Lake Eyasi, where you’ll step into another world. The Hadzabe hunter-gatherers live much like their ancestors, moving silently with bows and arrows in hand. This morning, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called Africa’s “Garden of Eden.” Inside this vast caldera, you may spot the Big Five: lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and even the rare black rhino. Flamingos paint the soda lake pink while hippos wallow lazily in the pools. After lunch on the crater floor, continue your journey to the Serengeti.
