Your Tanzanian adventure begins on arrival at Kilimanjaro international Airport, With your guide, drive straight to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant elephant herds and the mighty baobab “tree of life.” On your first game drive, spot lions stalking through the grass, zebras in playful herds, and giraffes moving gracefully across the plains. Have Lunch in the park, surrounded by wild calls. As the sun dips, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge, nestled in the lush highlands.

After breakfast, set off for Lake Eyasi, where you’ll step into another world. The Hadzabe hunter-gatherers live much like their ancestors, moving silently with bows and arrows in hand. Join them on a bush walk, learning how they track, hunt, and survive in harmony with nature. The nearby Datooga people, skilled metalworkers, showcase traditional crafts. Enjoy a lunch in the afternoon with sweeping views, before heading back to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge.

This morning, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called Africa’s “Garden of Eden.” Inside this vast caldera, you may spot the Big Five: lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and even the rare black rhino. Flamingos paint the soda lake pink while hippos wallow lazily in the pools. After lunch on the crater floor, continue your journey to the Serengeti. The endless plains open before you, dotted with acacia and rocky kopjes where lions bask. Arrive at Kontiki Serengeti Camp, your tented haven under starlit skies.
