Nairobi- Lake Nakuru

Depart from your hotel early in the morning for Lake Nakuru National Park with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photography. Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch and afternoon relaxation. The game drive starts at 4:00 pm till dusk.

Lake Nakuru is also referred to as the “pink lake” due to the thousands of flamingos that hatch and fly over the lake. The beauty of this lake cannot be ignored. It is an ideal park for birdwatching. Lion, rhino, and buffalo are also present here.

Lake Nakuru- Maasai Mara

Enjoy an early breakfast and depart for a morning game drive. If you are lucky, you'll find lions when they are active and hunting. Keep your camera and binoculars ready for this movie! Later, you exit the park and drive to Maasai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch and afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Maasai Mara Exploration

Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals as they are most active. This is when the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography opportunities.

You will search for the Big Five with game drives across the grassy plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, the site of the great annual migration from July to October. The immense herds of wildebeest and zebra are a magnificent sight, matched only by the drama of the predators waiting for them.

To add more excitement to your experience, you should take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Masai people in their nearby village and a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah. Your driver-guide can arrange either of these optional excursions.
