Mikumi by Train and Car and Game Drive

You will be picked up in Dar es Salaam early in the morning from your hotel and brought to the train station by our driver. In 2 hours, you will travel by train to Morogoro. In Morogoro, a second driver will be waiting for you and will drive you to Mikumi National Park. After arriving in Mikumi, you'll use an open jeep to enjoy the whole view of the park and spot animals. Mikumi is a good park for lions, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, impalas, baboons, elephants, wildebeests, hippos, and sometimes leopards, without forgetting different species of birds and plants. You'll take a break for lunch in the restaurant inside the park. Then, you'll continue with the Game Drive until late afternoon. With memories that will last for a lifetime, you'll start the way to the hotel inside the park, getting dinner and an overnight stay at Mikumi cottages.

Maasai Boma and Back to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, you'll visit a Maasai village to learn about their cultural activities. After the Maasai visit, you'll start the way back to the train station in Morogoro, where the train will bring you back to Dar es Salaam. Our driver there will bring you back to your hotel.

* If you wish to take the ferry to Zanzibar, we advise not visiting Maasai Boma, but start your way to Dar es Salaam right after breakfast.
