Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, you will go to Tarangire for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Herds of up to 300 elephants dig in the dry riverbed for water, while wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland gather at the shrinking water holes. This park shelters animals during the dry season and is a safe home for elephants. In the evening, we will have dinner and stay overnight at Lilac Campsite.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Wake up early for a game drive in Serengeti National Park where you might see wildebeest, lions, elephants, leopards, impala, gazelle, cheetahs, and maybe the wildebeest migration. After brunch, pack your bags and continue to Ngorongoro. You will do a game drive on the way from Serengeti to Ngorongoro, arriving late in the evening. You will reach the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite on the crater rim for dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake up early for a game drive in Serengeti National Park where you might see wildebeest, lions, elephants, leopards, impala, gazelle, cheetahs, and maybe the wildebeest migration. Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Hotel

After an early breakfast, go straight to the crater floor for a six-hour game drive inside the crater. Look for the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and maybe a black rhino. Have your picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok Spring, where you will also see other big animals like hippos, giraffes, warthogs, baboons, and many birds. After about six hours, drive back up to the crater rim and continue to Arusha with a game drive on the way through Mto wa Mbu village. In the evening, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha or at the airport.
