Day 1

Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met and greeted by your driver guide. From there, you will embark on a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a journey that offers your first glimpse of Kenya's beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge, Sarova Lionhill Game Lodge, and have a relaxing lunch.

In the afternoon, you will head out for an exciting evening game drive in Lake Nakuru. The park is famous for its enormous flocks of pink flamingos that color the lake's shores. It also boasts a rich diversity of wildlife, including over 450 species of birds. This is one of the few places in Kenya where you can reliably see both black and white rhinos. Your game drive will take you through diverse landscapes, from sweeping grasslands to rocky cliffs, in search of lions, leopards, and other animals. You will return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 2

After a final breakfast at your lodge, your day begins with an excursion to Lake Nakuru National Park for one last chance to view the famous flamingos and other wildlife. Afterward, you will embark on a scenic drive south towards the world-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The journey is an adventure in itself, passing through the beautiful savannah grasslands and plains of the Great Rift Valley, offering magnificent views of volcanoes like Mt. Suswa and Mt. Longonot.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a short game drive en route to your lodge, Jambo Mara Safari Lodge, arriving in time for a well-deserved lunch. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure, allowing you to settle in and take in the serene surroundings of the lodge before enjoying dinner and a peaceful overnight stay in the heart of the Mara. The Maasai Mara is considered one of the world's greatest tourist destinations, renowned for its incredible wildlife, including the Big Five.

Today is a full day dedicated to exploring the magnificent Maasai Mara National Reserve. The thriving wildlife activity here offers you the perfect opportunity to witness more of their natural behavior, from a lion hunt to a cheetah chase. The morning is spent on an exhilarating game drive through the vast plains and woodlands, allowing you to immerse yourself in the heart of the savannah before returning to the lodge for lunch. The afternoon is free for you to relax at the lodge or continue exploring the park.

Optional for an extra cost:

Maasai Mara Hot Air Balloon Safari: Before dawn, you can embark on a breathtaking one-hour hot air balloon safari. You will float silently over the plains as the sun rises, providing a unique perspective and incredible photographic opportunities. Upon landing, you will be treated to a full bush breakfast with sparkling wine. A brief game drive will then take you back to your lodge.

Day 4

After a final breakfast in the Maasai Mara, you will depart for a scenic drive to Lake Naivasha, the highest lake in the Great Rift Valley. You will arrive at your resort in time for lunch, with the afternoon dedicated to exploring this beautiful destination.

In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to enjoy an optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha (at additional cost), where you can spot hippos and a wide variety of birdlife up close. The boat can also take you to Crescent Island, a peaceful sanctuary for a walking safari (optional, at additional cost) among giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles roaming freely in their natural environment.

After this memorable experience, you will return to Eseriani Resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

The tour will conclude with an early farewell dinner at a local Indian restaurant before you are transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home, marking the end of your incredible Kenyan safari.
