I visited Kafue National park during the green season. I loved the remote feel of the park, but it would have been a more satisfying experience later in the dry season. The birding was very good, though, and made up for the absence of animals.

South Lwange experience couldn't have been improved. Amazing lodgings, wildlife, guides, service in camps, food, etc. Kafue is a bit behind on those matters. Better to go to Kafue in the north end of the park in Aug or Sept.

Nice and remote park. You are free to do what you want.Problem: pouching, wildlife often poor and shy.
