Lion Kill, Cheetah Kill and Hyena Kill, along with everything else we saw! Amazing!

This was an amazing DAY in The Mara. We saw all this in one day. And did I mention a Black Rhino sighting? Yes. We saw one of the 27ish Black Rhinos in the park. To many birds, flora and fauna to list. I loved the parks I've been to in Tanzania (The Selous & Ruaha), but for shear numbers and volume, The Mara is hands-down the best. Richie is a cool guy, just don't get into a political discussion with him. He's very bright and speaks several languages. He is also, apparently, the best cheetah spotter in the Serengeti ecosystem. Cheers!!!

The abundance of animals and the scenic beauty were beyond compare. The highlight was a night drive watching a pack of hyenas chasing a herd of wildebeests and zebras. The hyenas screaming and hundreds of reflective eyes darting in every direction created an energy and image that i can't describe.

We didn't tire of seeing so many beautiful lions ever day from the several prides. We spent hours taking pics of lions and cheetahs. The big cats were so beautiful and so photogenic.

I would go back to Masai Mara in a heart beat.

We stayed in 2 Eco-camps and loved it. They were small with only the 11 of us and the guides were great and very knowledgeable.

The best park in Kenya with uncountable wildlife numbers

When I visited this park in August, the migration of the animals was fully ongoing. There were hundreds of thousands of animals out in the huge savanna, they were uncountable.

The Zebras and Wildebeests crossing the Mara River was an amazing thing to watch, something extraordinary that one has to watch in a lifetime. We were also very lucky to see a lion kill wildebeests and also buffalo.

Also, managed to see a pride of 18 lions at one spot in Masai Mara, and even lions mating. This was the most outstanding park that we visited.

The safari company we booked with ensured we had the best game viewing in this sanctuary and recommend African Sermon Safaris operator. Their guides, Ben and James are also top class.

A very scenic park with enormous wildlife populations worth viewing. The Wildebeest migration is indeed a magical thing to see. I was amazed at the wildlife numbers and the Mara River crossing the highlight. Overall, a must see before one's death. I was glad we had a good safari company arranging the tour for us, worth the mention - African Sermon Safaris.

So big and full of wildlife, it is easy to forget that it is a park.
Try to be there during the migration season.

My experience with Adventure Backpackers Tanzania was extraordinaire. Not sure why they call themselves "Adventure Backpackers" because there were backpacks insight? They used vans with open roofs for great access (360 degree view) of the vast Savannah. Nelson, the senior coordinator, was well organized, fair and dedicated to making sure our group's travel experience was fun and enjoyable. Celestine Mueni, sales assistant, was helpful and friendly. Debbie, travel consultant, was knowledgeable about lodging and resorts, she was very helpful. Cyrus, the safari driver, was knowledgeable and made sure we saw plenty of wildlife and explained many things about the animals living in their natural habitat. I loved my experience and plan to go on more safaris to other parts of Kenya and Tanzania--booked by Adventure Backpackers.
