Lake Mburo National Park will most likely not be the only park you will visit in Uganda. It is much more probable that it will be one stop on a multiple park tour. Lake Mburo is located in western Uganda, 228km/142mi from Kampala and 60km/40mi from Mbarara. The drive from Kampala takes about three to four hours and the drive from Mbarara takes about one hour.

Entebbe International Airport (EBB) is about 46km/29mi from the country’s capital, Kampala. This will be your entry point into Uganda. Your local tour operator will usually arrange for your pick-up from the airport or hotel and all further transportation as part of your safari package.

Airlines & Ticket Prices

Please check Skyscanner, or for multiple-destination flights check Expedia, to see which airlines can take you to Entebbe International Airport (EBB), and what tickets would cost.

Domestic Flights

Your tour operator usually books domestic flights to multiple parks for you as part of your safari package. Scheduled flights to Mbarara can be booked through Fly Uganda.

Passport, Visa & Other Entry Requirements
