Attractive lake scenery, opportunity to see Rotshchild giraffes and a wide range of other animals, as well as several bird species, including African fish eagles, flamingos, and pelicans.

Lake Nakuru is slightly decadent since flood deprived of its most important attraction, the flamingos. However, it was there where we saw more and better zebras and where we could get off, well guarded by rangers, and closer to zebras and flamingos themselves remaining in the Lake. Beautiful.

Lake Nakuru was lovely and had many rhino. I was there over 20 years ago and recall it being pink with flamingos. This is no longer the case.
(it may have been the time of year).

I used to go regularly when the flamingos were there. To see over one million flamingoes on the lake was an incredible site. Unfortunately the flamingos are no longer there and probably better to go to Naivasha and take a boat out to Crescent Island.

A very diverse park from Masai Mara. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, and it was much quieter (less vans/trucks around "big" animals)

The water level was high, so the road near the flamingos was blocked. We saw both white and black rhinos.

I was expecting much more flamingos and birds in lake Nakura. However I was amazed by the closeness to the animals (zebras, buffalos, antilopes...). We also saw 3 rhinos and the views were amazing.
