"I recently had the incredible opportunity to explore the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and I owe it all to the expertise of Samuel, our amazing guide! Samuel made it possible for us to experience the best of Ngorongoro in just one day, and it was truly unforgettable.

From the moment we descended into the crater, Samuel's knowledge and passion for the area shone through. He took us to the most incredible spots, sharing insights into the wildlife, geology, and culture of the region. We spotted an abundance of wildlife, including lions, elephants, and rhinos, and Samuel's expertise helped us understand their behaviors and habitats.

Samuel's attention to detail and dedication to ensuring we had an exceptional experience were evident throughout the day. He was knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing the wonders of Ngorongoro.

Thanks to Samuel, our Ngorongoro adventure was nothing short of spectacular. If you're planning a visit, I highly recommend Samuel as your guide - he truly knows the area inside out!

Amazing drivers made for a great safari!

Landsmen was the company that handled all the arrangements for a photography class safari we went on in late August/early September this year. The accommodations arranged were quite nice with great staff and good food.
The drivers, however, were the best part of the safari (well, except for the animals). They handled the rutted and dirt roads like the pros they are but more importantly, they knew the animals and could spot them so quickly. And they knew a lot about photography, or at least what the photographers in the group would want (that golden hour light, for example). They would move to get new or better angles. I am not a photographer but I got to see a LOT of animals and spend time with them.
They also called the situation perfectly when we were waiting to see a crossing during the Great Migration – we watched most of the vehicles waiting leave and our drivers just passed out lunches to us and told us to be patient – the animals started crossing a few minutes later.
The safari trip also included canoeing on Lake Maryana, meeting with a couple of tribal families (different tribes and lifestyles) and a hot air balloon ride. We were very happy with the trip.
Landsmen also arranged a Rwandan Gorilla Trek for my husband and me – great driver/guide in Rwanda, a wonderful lodge to stay near the trek location and a very nice place to stay in Kigali. Overall, we would happily work with them again.

Our safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro was truly unforgettable thanks to our amazing guide, Gerald Kani. He always drove safely, explained everything with kindness, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable throughout the trip. Thanks to his sharp eyes, we were able to spot the Big Five and so many other incredible animals. We felt completely at ease and enjoyed every moment. I highly recommend Gerald and this company to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania!

This 12-day adventure was the trip of my life-time! While the hours were long, dusty and exhausting, they were worth every minute (and dollar) spent. The breadth of what we were able to see and experience far exceeded my expectations. Our guides were friendly and very knowledgable about the animals (where to find them, their behaviors), and about the landscape and various cultures of Tanzania - and their driving skills were amazing - as was their good humor. The vehicles were comfortable (most of the time) and we were able to limit 3 travelers per vehicle most times - allowing for maximum viewing from both sides of the vehicle. In addition to the many large and small animals we saw (including the great migration crossing of the river, mating of cheetahs and baby lions playing), other highlights included visiting the Hadzabe and Maasai tribes, a balloon ride over the Serengeti and a small plane flight from the Serengeti to Arusha. We stayed in very nice accommodations - with beautiful views and friendly and helpful staff (a few issues with showers - all fixed as needed). I traveled as a single "senior" woman - and received all of the support and care I needed (plus more!) from guides and lodging staff. Our group of 12 had ample time together...and we all left for home happy and tired.
