Solo traveller - experience of a lifetime!
5/5

I did a 3-night, 4-day safari with Baby Bird Safari as a female solo traveller, and honestly… it was unreal from start to finish.

From the very beginning, Chris was excellent with communication during the booking process; super clear, friendly, and professional. Payment was easy too: half deposit upfront, half cash on the first day, which felt very straightforward.

The trip itself felt like I’d visited three different countries in one safari. Amboseli National Park was absolutely unreal; the landscapes and wildlife were next-level and something I’ll never forget.

One of the biggest highlights was staying in Tsavo West, where the lodge actually left meat out for leopards. Watching them come so close in the wild was insane; something I never imagined experiencing like that.

The lodge in Ngutuni was outstanding and right next to a watering hole, so you could sit back and watch animals come and go. It felt peaceful, wild, and special all at once.

As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe the entire time. There was lots of laughter, cracking jokes, sharing music, and learning about different cultures; it felt relaxed, fun, and genuine.

Truly an unreal experience, and I’m so grateful for it.
Thank you so much, Baby Bird Safari. I’d recommend this tour to anyone without hesitation!

An Amazing Experience
4/5

Overall, our experience with baby bird tours was great. Our driver and guide for the day, Festus, arrived on time and was a fantastic driver. We felt safe the whole time despite some pretty intense traffic and roads 😄.

Throughout the drive to the park and within the park, he offered great information and answered all our questions.

The park itself is an absolute must visit, truly magnificent

The only negative feedback I have is the game drive time ends up being less than advertised, after lunch, we pretty much took a direct route out of the park and it didn't seem there was any intention to really look for animals.

But we arrived back in time and overall had a fantastic day, thank you!

Samuel was excited about finding as many of the Big 5 as possible. The rhino was very elusive but we

The tour it self was really nice!! The Accommodation is really simple but for budget travellers totally fine and the people are kind.

Amazing safari experience with really a terrible airport transfer.
4/5

The Tsavo East Safari experience was amazing. Honestly one of the best experiences in our lifes. The freelance safari driver was really good and profesional.
The Safari 10/10
Voi Wildlife Lodge hotel at the safari was good as well. Unfortunately no A/C in the room and it was really hot. The food was nice. The best part of this Lodge was the view - we could see many wild animals, including hippos!

The worst part of our trip was the transfer from the airport to Safari and then from safari to Diani.
The car we got picked up by, was very old and could barely reach the speed of 70km/h. We were overtaken by trucks… The journey that was supposed to take 3h according to google maps, took us 4h.
On the was from Safari to Diani, the car broke down… which wasnt surprising at all. We waited 1h for some other guys to try and fix it, but without success. Our guide eventually paid the guys to take us to Diani with their car, which was significantly better.
But unfortunately, the second car broke down as well! This time we managed to get to some mechanic and it was done after around 15 minutes.
Very exhausting and unpleasant journey. This time instead od 3h 30’ - it took us 5h.

Better ask about the car, before booking!
