Safari, Kilimanjaro trekking and Arusha cultural tour
A great experience for our group consisting of 3 family members + 2 working colleagues. Abraham responded to all our communication instantly, and has organized a great safari through Serengeti, Ndutu and Ngorongoro for us. Our driver Allan was the best choice possible: friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. A very personal remark: when staying together with other groups in an accommodation, Allan was about the very rare drivers using a deodorant, another hurry for the company and its personnel!
After the safari tour, the group split: one part did a Kilimanjaro trekking, the other a cultural tour, learning about cultivating coffe. We had lunch with delicious local dishes - thank you for this experience! Our guide taught us about African tress and plants, and we saw the Materuni waterfall. Incredible photos, some made by our guide: thank you!
We missed it to buy a painting at the stand close to the waterfall: our guide has brought is to the Arusha airport next day, shortly before we left - THANKS!!! One of the best holidays ever, thank you. Lauwo Adventures, highly recommended by all 5 very happy and satisfied participants!

Caring and Supportive and empowering
Climbing Kilimanjaro wasn’t about conquering a mountain—it was about meeting myself at 19,341 feet. Lauwo Adventures guided me there, but what I discovered along the way went far beyond the summit.
Lauwo was with me every step of the journey. Their constant encouragement and cheerful banter helped take my mind off the hard work of climbing. The team responded to every need I had with enthusiasm and a genuine smile. It was easy to build trust with them, and that transformed the experience from a solo challenge into a shared victory.
They made sure I stayed fueled with hearty, delicious meals—and were even happy to accommodate a few custom requests. You learn to love ginger tea up there! While I climbed, I never had to worry about much. Lauwo took care of everything—from ensuring my sleeping setup was comfortable, to heating water so I could stay warm, to offering to carry part of my pack on summit day when the climb got tough.
Lauwo turned the goal of reaching the summit into a meaningful journey.
Coming down, I felt changed—quieter, more grounded, more sure of myself. Kilimanjaro didn’t just show me Africa’s sky—it showed me who I really am.

We had the pleasure of an intimate safari and we hiked Mt Kilimanjaro with Lauwo Adventures. Everything was seamless. The safari was 3 nights and just enough time to see the Big Five and visit the crater. We stayed at a beautiful hotel at the top of a mountain. As for the hike, I am so so happy that we chose Lauwo Adventures. To take this journey with Abraham, who's grandfather was the first Tanzanian up the mountain, was something special. Abraham has guided visitors up this mountain hundreds of times. I knew i was in good hands. The porters were professional and attentive. We were successful because of the team that Lauwo Adventures has created. Lauwo Adventures team is like family. Abraham supports his team's personal goals and dreams just like he did mine.
