My wife and I took a short vacation in Ethiopia the second week of December, and it was so memorable—all thanks to our amazing guide, Kenau.

We did a city tour of Addis Ababa and visited the beautiful Bishoftu lakes, both were fantastic. Kenau really knows his stuff. He is full of knowledge about Ethiopian history, important dates, local cultures, wildlife and geography. He made every stop interesting and meaningful and we learned so much while having a great time.

Everything was planned thoughtfully around what we wanted to do and at the pace we wanted to go. Kenau was super patient and answered every question we had. The drives were smooth and scenic, so we could just relax and take in the views.

All in all, it was a really well-organized and rewarding trip. We’re so glad we chose Kenau and would tell anyone visiting Ethiopia to do the same. Bring your camera, stay curious, and get ready for a true local adventure—you are in great hands!

From the moment we started planning, the team was very communicative and very clear with the itinerary. This was a jam-packed but also extremely organized tour. I visited the Danakil Depression, a place I have longed to visit ,and then also visited Lalibela. Kenaw arranged everything - flights, accommodation (and the best).
