Halisi Africa Tours gave us the best deals in booking, we definitely saved so much money by booking with them. Along with the great deals, Hamza is very well known in Stone Town so it was so great to be guided by a hometown hero! Hamza is very considerate and reliable and made our trip to Zanzibar perfection.

Halisi was highly recommended by an associate. We started our communication via WhatsApp. And from the first day he sprung into planning action mode. His response times were quick, he gave great suggestions and alternatives.
When we arrived, we were welcomed by his associate in Dar es Salaam then later in the trip we meet Halisi in Zanzibar. Our stay was a combination of thoughtfully planned historical, adventurous, romantic, peaceful and over all a life changing experience.
If you are seeking a high level of professionalism, attentiveness, flexibility, when needed, and overwhelming presence of peace … I highly recommend Halisi.
We've referred him to several people and their experience has been similar. We can not wait to book with him again but considering other country, in which he will be able to offer tours.

Hamza provided my hotel transfers and a full day private tour in-between .
Pick up was on the North of Zanzibar (including my luggage).
Our first stop was a Spice Plantation. Hamza walked me through the Spice Plantation privately along with a local guide. They provided a wealth of informative information as well as being entertaining. On a side note, it may be wise to bring cash to the plantation to purchase various items - No ATM available or Credit Cards taken.
After the Spice Plantation we drove to Stone Town where we caught a private boat to Prison Island. I am not sure what I expected to see on the island, but it was not the Tortoises. They were a pleasant surprise. Feeding and touching them was a blast!
Then we returned back to Stone Town for our walking tour. We covered so many interesting stops in Stone Town. I would have never been able to see so much without Hamza’s excellent guidance and commentary. After walking through a maze of interesting streets, we ended in the market. What a joy to walk around the market with the locals while feeling perfectly safe in Hamza’s care.
We then took off to my resort north of Stone Town. The traffic getting there was a mess - but never did Hamza show any frustration. We would get to the resort safe and sound no matter how long the delay.
I highly recommend Hamza to take you on a tour of Zanzibar.
His warm personality and shared knowledge will give you a most memorable day I am sure.

I was on a solo trip to Zanzibar and booked a day trip to Tumbatu island , a walking tour of Stone Town as well as my transfers from and to airport and other locations with Halisi tours. All this was organised promptly and efficiently by Hamza.
Hamza and his team were totally reliable ,very pleasant and flexible if my plans changed and were always there for me well on time - I never had to worry as I knew I was in safe hands.
Hamza as a resident of Stone Town was perfect to show me round on the walking tour - even though I had walked around myself several times I learned more from the tour than I could have ever seen on my own - so much local information and Hamza seemed to know everyone!. The tour of Tumbatu island was led by an excellent guide who was actually from the island which was great to have and insider perspective and knowledge and I enjoyed seeking local life in a place where few tourists get to visit.
