Outstanding Safari Experience – Highly Recommended!
5/5

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Meterai Safaris during our trip to Lake Naivasha and Crescent Island!

Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Communication was excellent, the service was professional and reliable, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.

The boat ride on Lake Naivasha was amazing, especially seeing the hippos up close. Walking among the wildlife on Crescent Island was another unforgettable highlight.

The whole trip was enjoyable, comfortable, and worth every dollar. We genuinely appreciated the excellent service and the effort that went into making our day so special.

I would highly recommend Meterai Safaris to anyone visiting Kenya. Thank you for an incredible experience! Definitely 10/10!

AMAZING
5/5

There are 3 things we wish we knew before going on the safari. First is that the drive there and back in 6 hours each. You do have 2 stops each way so you can go to the toilet, buy some water or suveniers and stretch your legs but still be prepared to be sitting for 6 hours. Second is that in Masai Mara you can only pay with cash. They do take schilings, USD or EUR, but just have some cash ready for some extra water or drinks and other activities if you do want to add them to your trip. And the third is that the second day when you go to the safari there is only bush toilet, which is not a problem just be prepared.

Other than that our safari trip was AMAZING! Our guide was Patrik and he was brillinat! He really made sure that we enjoyed our trip and gave us so many amazing facts about Masai Mara and the animals. We got to see all the big 5 and sooo many more. He also made sure to get as close as possible to the animals so we really had an amazing experience! Thank you fot everyhing and we REALLY DO RECOMMEND YOU BOOK WITH THEM! ESPECIALLY IF YOU GET PATRIK AS YOUR GUIDE!

Amazing safari experience
5/5

A friend recommended Meterai safari for Kenya. We trusted her and it was the best trip of our lifes. Our driver and tour guide was a very experienced person and very friendly. The hotels where we stayed for medium range were much better than we expected, delicious food and some of them even had animals inside the resorts, an unforgettable experience.

Amazing Safari
5/5

A good safari, excellent communication
4/5

Communication with the tour operator was excellent right from the start.
Overall, the tour was satisfactory; all the arrangements made were honoured and the transfers were on time.

There are lots of optional activities that aren’t included in the price of the safari and which you’re almost always forced to do so as not to be left with no alternatives (usually $20 each, and there are at least 3–4 of them).

Overall, all the guides, staff and drivers were honest and very friendly, so I’d recommend them.

I’d advise you to carefully consider which activities you want to do and how many days to spend on the safari in the most important parks: Maasai Mara and Amboseli.

We chose the 5-day tour, but we spent a whole afternoon with no scheduled activities or optional extras to do. For the last three days, we only did half-day activities.

The Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha parks are interesting, but you’ll only spend half a day there; it might be worth dedicating more time to the larger parks (Maasai Mara and Amboseli).

One final tip: there’s a big difference between budget and mid-range accommodation; consider your choice carefully.
