We had a very great safari, everything was arranged perfectly.

At first we had good contact by mail. All important details were mentioned.

The people of the organisation were so kind to bring us to our hotel after we have landed at Arusha Airport. While we had our 3 days of safari, the tour guide, Baraka, had a lot to tell about the animals, but also about the people, environment and he had an answer to all of our questions.

We have seen every animal we hoped for, so we couldn’t we happier.

The organisation helped us out with problems as well and we had nothing to care for is these days.

We had an amazing safari with Pumba Reisen from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the experience. The communication before and during the trip was excellent, and every detail was taken care of.

Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about wildlife. He made every game drive special and always did his best to give us the best possible sightings. Thanks to him, we had unforgettable encounters with amazing animals and learned so much about nature.

We booked a two-day safari to Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater with Pumba Reisen, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.

The communication with Careen before the trip was excellent. Everything was well organized, and she answered all of our questions quickly, so we felt well prepared before the safari even started.

During the safari, Eduard was our driver and guide. He was a safe and calm driver, but above all a very knowledgeable guide. He shared a lot of interesting information about the wildlife, nature, and the parks. We also really enjoyed our conversations about Tanzanian culture and everyday life, which made the experience even more personal and memorable.

The lunches were delicious, and the accommodation was comfortable and well arranged.

Overall, everything was organized perfectly from start to finish. We highly recommend Pumba Reisen to anyone looking for a well-organized safari with excellent personal service. Thank you, Careen and Eduard, for an unforgettable experience!

From the very beginning, it was important to us to plan our trip to Tanzania with a company that is closely connected to the country and its people. When we came across Pumba Reisen during our research and read about William’s vision, we knew right away: We’re in exactly the right hands here. When we had the opportunity to meet William in person in Stuttgart while planning our trip, we immediately appreciated the personal, flexible, and trustworthy service.

This positive experience continued when our trip finally began in December 2025. On-site, during our safari through various national parks (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara), we were guided by Daniel (“the crazy guide,” as he calls himself). Daniel was a wonderful companion for this once-in-a-lifetime experience, and it was immediately apparent how much passion and experience he brings to his work. We felt completely in good hands and superbly looked after at all times. Following our safari days, we took a day trip to Mount Kilimanjaro—a lovely experience to get a feel for the surroundings of this special mountain.

After that, we headed to the Usambara Mountains for a few days. It was particularly memorable to get to know the local people on foot and learn more about the colonial era. Our trip finally ended with a few days in Zanzibar. We’re taking home many unique experiences and wonderful memories from Tanzania—glimpses into everyday life in the country and many small encounters with so many impressive people.

Our first safari, an unforgettable experience!

We had a great time organizing the tour with Careen from Pumba Reisen. She was responsive to all our emails and tried her best to accommodate our requests. The reservation process was very smooth. Daniel was our guide for the tour. A knowledgeable, resourceful guide, keen on showing us the best aspects of the different parks. He stayed in constant communication with other guides in the park to make sure he knew where the animals were being spotted and made sure to take us there. Our tour included seeing a pride of 25 lions up close, a family of cheetahs playing, several herds of elephants, the elusive leopard, jackals, hippos, and 30 other unique animals.

Apart from the animals, Pumba Reisen arranged for wonderful accommodations in our 4-night stay in the parks. We had a wonderful night's rest in these places. Daniel also arranged fresh food (given our dietary restrictions) for lunch each day in the park, and we greatly appreciated that.

This was our first safari trip, and we will never forget it. Thank you, Pumba Reisen!
