Avoid This Company – Lost €2,153 Due to Their Negligence
We booked our wedding safari with this company and had extensive communication — over 10 emails exchanged using their official email address — where we agreed on all the trip details. After everything was confirmed, we received a request for a 50% deposit, again from their same official email. Trusting this, we sent €2,153 to the account details provided.
Some time later, we received an email from telling us to contact them via WhatsApp. We then heard from them on WhatsApp, where they told us their email had been hacked. I have proof email regarding payment request, and WhatsApp communication confirming these facts.
During later discussions, instead of showing any regret or empathy, they told us it was our fault for sending the money — even though they admitted their own systems had been compromised. To make things even worse, they then demanded we pay the full price again — even higher than the previously agreed price — claiming that the lower price had not been agreed by them and that the “real” price is higher.
This is especially outrageous because this was meant to be part of the most important day of our lives — our wedding — and their attitude has completely ruined the experience before it even began.
Recommendation:
For your own safety and peace of mind, avoid this company at all costs. We lost our money, and instead of helping us find a fair solution, they blamed us, refused responsibility, and tried to charge us even more.

Perfectly organised tours in resonable prices
We chose 4-days safarii at Tsavo Est, Tsavo West and Amboseli. All was organised perfectly. During making a offer they was able to fulfil our expectations. From picking up from hotel till getting back we had a very good care. Our driver/guide did his best for making our safari unforgetable. Thanks to him we saw a lot of animals. He was punctual, wellorganised, had a lot of patience. When he saw that in some place we wanted just stay longer to observe animals he gave us as much time as we need. Car was a jeep 4x4. Accomodation was very good in lovely places with tasty food and service. Was great to spend nights inside the parks! We only wished to stay longer. For next time I will choose Tanke Tours & Safaris. They are the best!

Great Experience !
Amazing adventure in an unbelievable setting! I travel a lot but it’s the first travel agency I am so happy with. I was welcomed with a great hospitality and enjoyed our communication from the very first phone call. Caroline stayed in touch with us all the time and helped us greatly with things as big as reorganizing the trip due to the flight cancellation and with the details such as checking us in for an internal flight. All the trips were well-thought-out and provided us with incredible experiences. I will surely book with Tanke Tours & Safaris again in the future!

Incredible experience worth its price!
Booking a trip with Tanke Tours Safari was the best decision I am extremely happy with. Caroline is an excellet trip organizer and a wonderful person. We chose a private tour option and we strongly recommend it as a great opportunity to enjoy it to the fullest. We were assigned an incredibly hospitable guide, Faiz, who was the life and the soul of the entire trip. Their reliability, friendliness and professionality deserve all the praise. They displayed a great flexibility and were extremely helpful as well as supportive when our flight got rescheduled. We strongly recommend choosing Tanke - you won’t regret it!

Great program, excellent safari driving.
We chose Tanke Tours from several offers. Caroline always answered our questions quickly and accurately, so we already developed a sympathy when we placed the order. It was also no coincidence that they offered the best price-value ratio with the luxury category accommodations.
Fais was our tour guide, a very prepared and kind person. He always presented the animals in detail, he tried to see as many animals as possible.
Thank you to Tanke Tours for the essential help to fulfill the family's old wish. We think of them fondly.
