Great trip, experience and guide.
We had a fantastic trip with so many incredible experiences, from seeing the Big Five to taking in the beautiful landscapes of Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana.
Our guide, Delight, was absolutely brilliant. He was incredibly knowledgeable, always happy to help and went out of his way to take us wherever we needed to go. He really made our trip unforgettable!
On our first evening, we enjoyed a river cruise along the Zambezi River, complete with delicious appetisers and drinks, and the opportunity to get up close to hippos. On the second day, we opted for the additional rhino safari in Zambia, which was fantastic and something I would highly recommend.
The game drives through Chobe National Park were incredible. We were lucky enough to get up close to a lion and her cubs, as well as a leopard, alongside beautiful herds of elephants, giraffes, impalas and buffalo, and an amazing variety of birdlife.
For me, Elephant Sands was the highlight of the entire trip. The accommodation was beautiful, with wonderful views of elephants gathering at the watering hole right from our bedroom window. The food was also delicious! Being able to observe the elephants so closely, learn about their behaviour and watch how they interact with one another was such a special and unforgettable experience.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to camp overnight on the salt pans due to the wet conditions. However, watching the sunset there was beautiful, and Fuhara arranged alternative accommodation for us.
We finished our adventure in the Okavango Delta, with mokoro rides, bush walks and an overnight camping experience. This was another absolute highlight, and we even had the opportunity to learn how to pole a mokoro ourselves, which was great fun!
The only downside was the communication and organisation with some of the external tour operators in Botswana. On one occasion, we were collected and then had to sit and wait in the car at the game reserve gate for our safari vehicle to arrive for an hour and a half. Thankfully, the game drive itself was phenomenal and well worth it. I cannot fault Fuhara for the overall tour, but I do think there is an opportunity for them to improve communication with and provide feedback to the external operators they work with, as the reliability and timings of some excursions could have been better.
Overall, we had a wonderful and memorable trip filled with incredible wildlife encounters, beautiful scenery and unique experiences. A huge thank you to Delight for making it so special!

An exceptionally professional tour operator that took flawless care of us on every excursion
We were picked up promptly at the airport and taken to our accommodation. Every single pickup for every event was right on time. Our personal host, Delight, was friendly, welcoming, and always by our side in the most pleasant, unobtrusive way. His extensive knowledge of the local area, botany, and history deeply enriched our experiences. It was a true pleasure to have him with us!

Great nature and wildlife experience through Vic Falls, Chobe, Elephant Sands and Okavango Delta
Our tour with Fuhara was well organized. Communication in advance of the tour was good. We booked a diverse tour from Victoria Falls, via Chobe, Elephant Sands to the Okavango Delta. The tour included classical game drive in Chobe as well as nature walks in the Okavango Delta. We mainly rested in hotels, which were decent but not outstanding - yet this fully met our expectation.
Elephant Sands provided a great experience where elephants are gathering around a water hole for drinking. We learned that this experience mostly applies in the dry season.
The Okavango Delta was our most appealing experience by means of walking in the nature and exploring animals in a most natural environment. Note that if you are looking for classical game drive experience with animals being very close and lions / cheetahs, this is not what you should be looking for. But the delta was amazing for connecting to nature and walking through the wild. Animal encounters feel different in this environment.
Special thanks to our guide Delight who has been very kind and helpful through the itinerary, providing support when needed.
We paid a total of 1900 USD for 9 days (7 full days). Adding tips and cost of dinner, we paid a total of approximately 2100 USD per person.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience and would 100% recommend this tour, especially for families.
Everything was so well organised, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we experienced everything Chobe has to offer. Having both the land and water tours gave us such a great variety of experiences and allowed us to see the area from completely different perspectives.
The food was delicious — hearty, authentic African-style meals that even our kids happily ate! The camp was also much more comfortable than we expected, with proper beds raised off the floor, a camp shower, toilets, a fire and plenty of little comforts that made the whole experience really enjoyable.
All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. For the price, we thought this tour offered exceptional value for money. Because it was a smaller and more personal experience, we were able to do and see things that we don’t think we would have experienced with a larger tour company.
For us, this offered better value and a much more memorable experience than simply staying in a lodge. We would absolutely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Chobe — particularly families travelling with children.
