Amazing first camping safari

We did 8 days across Botswana from Maun to Vic Falls, and Monika was our guide for the 4 night camping portion. He gave us a great experience and really tried to get us as close to the animals as possible while still being safe and respecting them. We ended up seeing all the Big 5, and I feel like he went out of his way to make that happen.

Monika is also so knowledgeable about the animals in the parks and about Botswana wildlife in general. He could answer any question we had.

This was our first time camping, and we were quite nervous about it, sleeping in a tent with all the animals running around and hearing them at night. But Monika had a lot of confidence and experience, which made us feel a lot better.

The whole experience was really well organized. He made our first camping safari one to remember!

We have travelled a lot around the world, and I can honestly say this was one of the best guided trips we’ve ever experienced. From day one, everything was exceptionally well organized, yet always flexible when circumstances changed. You handled every unexpected situation calmly and professionally, making us feel that we were always in safe hands.

Your knowledge of Botswana, its wildlife, culture and people was outstanding, but what made the biggest difference was the way you shared it - with passion, patience and genuine enthusiasm. Every game drive, every stop and every conversation taught us something new.

Above all, thank you for the way you looked after us. You anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, made sure everyone was comfortable and included, and somehow managed to stay positive, smiling and full of energy every single day.

You didn’t just show us Botswana - you helped us fall in love with it. Thank you for creating memories that our family will cherish forever. We hope our paths cross again one day!

We used Monika Shapes for Moremi Game Reserve Drive. Best service, punctual, patient and allowed enough time for pictures. Constantly gave updates about the tour schedule prior the actual tour to ensure we dnt miss departure time. Saw the mighty rare Tiger❤️. He knows the jungle like the back of his hand. We indeed got value for our money
