An exceptional Kilimanjaro team that treats you like family and supports you every step
Our Kilimanjaro journey was nothing short of extraordinary, and we’re so grateful we chose Julius and Mosses to guide us. From the moment they picked us up at the airport, we felt taken care of. The next day, they did a thorough gear check to make sure we had everything we needed, which gave us a lot of confidence heading into the climb.
The entire trek was seamless. The guides were skilled, patient, and genuinely invested in helping us reach the summit — and we did. They were incredibly accommodating, even adjusting our summit-day schedule so we could start the hike later, which made the experience much more comfortable for us.
The porters were kind, respectful, and unbelievably hardworking. They carried so much of the weight — literally and figuratively — and always did it with a smile. And the chef’s meals were amazing. Fresh, delicious, and far better than we ever expected on a mountain.
At the end of the trip, they told us something we’ll never forget: “In Tanzania, you come as strangers, and leave as family.” It’s true. They made us feel special every step of the way, and by the time we came down from the mountain, it genuinely felt like we were leaving friends behind.
Everything went well, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose this company. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone dreaming of standing on top of Kilimanjaro.

We were from Japan.
Our 2-night, 3-day route took us to Ngorongoro and the Serengeti.
It was my first time camping in a tent in Africa!
We were able to see all five of the Big Five thanks to our driver!
We even saw a lion eating a zebra!
Wild cheetahs! So cool!
What excited me the most was the warthog, one of the Ugly Five! ! ! So cute 🩷
Zebras ran right next to our tent, and we could clearly hear them eating grass. Hyenas were walking around at night. The distance was incredible! ! ! !
Our guide/driver said, "No fences, no security!" and that was so true!
We had a cook with us, so lunch in the savanna was an unforgettable experience.
Charging our cell phones and cameras was easy in the safari car, which was reassuring.
You can also charge them at the lodge, but it's difficult because there are other tour groups there.
The toilets were cleaner than I expected!
The bath apparently has hot water, but it's cold because other tour groups have used it all up.
Try it if you're feeling brave! Lol
The nights on the safari are cold.
A huge, bright red sunset falling across the grassland.
I'll never forget the sunrise that shines through the dim atmosphere of early morning, filled with hope.
Such a beautiful sunrise can only be seen here. I highly recommend experiencing it.
