Great experience with Axis
We booked a four-day safari with Axis and had a wonderful time! We ran into a problem with our flights that caused us to miss the first day, but we contacted Asia, who always responded promptly to help us find a new solution. In the end, we decided to upgrade to a private tour by paying the difference, and it was an excellent choice. Our guide, Kel, was fantastic! With him, we managed to see so many animals and all of the Big 5 across the two parks (Masai Mara and Nakuru). He answered our countless questions and was always kind and accommodating with our requests. He gave us a 10/10 experience!! Plus, we had water available in the jeep, which turned out to be incredibly useful!
At Masai Mara, we stayed at the Sankare tented camp. It’s a bit basic (electricity is limited to a few hours a day), but if you adjust a little, it has everything you need to be comfortable (for example, there’s hot water all day). Almost all the staff are very welcoming and pleasant, and the food is great.
At Lake Nakuru, we stayed at the Buhara Hotel; here, too, the warm welcome from the staff makes all the difference. The rooms are small but modern, the food is delicious here as well, and there’s even a pool. Finally, the stop at Lake Naivasha includes some touristy activities like a walking safari, but we enjoyed them—and in any case, they’re optional. We don’t recommend the stop at the Masai village—which we didn’t like because it was a bit too touristy and not worth the price, considerino also the pressure if you decide to buy souvenirs (which you’re not forced to)—but this excursion is optional, Axis offers it as an option, which is still appreciated because some people might actually enjoy it more.
Overall, we recommend Axis for their prompt service, for the lodge/hotel accommodations considering the value for money, and above all for our guide Kel, whom we thank once again warmly! The tour can be paid for in cash or online by credit card, with a small 3.5% fee.

Very good organization
Jackson, our guide, was incredible, always attentive to everything. We had a health issue, and he was always by our side. He went out of his way to accommodate the entire group and our specific needs throughout the safari. We were able to see the Big Five up close thanks to his expertise. The hotels could be improved, and the food was quite average.

Great pleasure of seeking wild animals with Sir Charles
We have spent 6 wonderfull days with Sir Charles, our safari guide, during our journey to Kenia. We have visited Masai Mara, Amboseli and Hell’s Gate. All the Safari trips were very interesting, all places differ and all delivered us great experience. Our guide, Sir Charles, was very engaged in seeking for animals, he knew exactly where the animals were supposed to be and during our safaris he was sharing with us a lot of interesting informations about animals that we have met. He was very kind and had great ideas for lunch place, car stopping for the best views on animals passing by and he was also very cheerful and always ready to answer to our questions. We spent really valuable time together.
Kelvin was a terrific tour guide, he was very knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly.
Expectations were beyond exceeded during our trip. My wife and I came to fulfill our dreams of venturing off on a safari for our honeymoon. We had an absolute blast during our time. We were able to experience amazing sights of all kinds of wildlife! Overall Axis is a great company that kept in great contact and gave us amazing service. Kelvin was exceptional during tour, very knowledgeable about the animals when asked questions and answered with delightful responses. At the next chance of being able to do another safari I would 100% choose Axis again.
