Rodger is an excellent tour guide! He picks us up at the hotel every day on time and prepares everything we need for the day. After the tour, he takes us back to the hotel and arranges everything before leaving. During the trip, he explains things in detail and provides patient service. He is a very dedicated person

Rodge is excellent:

1. Punctual – He arrived at the hotel on time every day and was never late.
2. Patient – He answered all our questions patiently and thoroughly.
3. Safe – He always reminded us of safety precautions in good time and drove us safely through long distances.

Deciding to travel to Africa was a very tough call for me. Given the long‑distance journey and being in a foreign land, I learned from social‑media posts that your tour operator and guide largely shape your entire safari experience. That made me quite nervous ahead of the trip.

As it turned out, however, it was absolutely the right decision. From our initial outreach and itinerary planning all the way to final confirmation, the coordinating staff were incredibly patient and always responded promptly. No disagreements or conflicts arose throughout our trip; every detail was thoughtfully arranged.

I also want to give our guide Rodger my strongest recommendation. Our smooth, fulfilling journey would not have been possible without his dedication and company. Even when our English was disjointed and confusing, he answered all our questions patiently. He enthusiastically shared insights about local culture and natural science throughout the tour. Whenever we raised questions, he would explain things one by one in simple, easy‑to‑understand terms.

We spent long hours on the road during the trip, and Rodger would drive for seven to eight hours at a stretch, which was extremely demanding. He was also highly responsive to all our requests. We felt truly fortunate and privileged to have Rodger as our guide. He turned our Kenya safari into a lifelong, unforgettable memory. I cannot thank him enough. Wish him every success in his work and all the best for his life.

I recently undertook a 5-day safari tour with Axis Africa Safaris and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. From the moment we booked until the very end of our trip, the service we received was great. Everything was well organised, communication was excellent, and we felt looked after every step of the way.

The safari itself was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to our fantastic guide; Mimi Kelvin, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five, making it a truly memorable trip. Our guide was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and friendly, always taking the time to answer our questions and ensuring we had the best possible wildlife sightings. His enthusiasm and expertise made the entire 5-day tour an absolute pleasure.

A special thank you also to Peter Mungai, who stayed in touch with us throughout the trip. He was always friendly, attentive and incredibly accommodating, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we had the best possible experience. It was reassuring to know they were always available if we needed anything.

If we’re fortunate enough to go on another safari in the future, we wouldn’t hesitate to choose Axis again. They delivered a great experience from start to finish, and we have memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to the whole team for such an incredible adventure!
