Amazing Safari Experience

We just returned from an amazing  unforgettable, 4 day safari part of a 10 day trip.  Everything was really well organised from our pick up and return to the airport and trip to the parks.  Our guide Damian was such a nice, fun guy who made the 4 days memorable for us.  He was very knowledgeable about the animals too.  The animals you see is just luck but we had tons of luck and saw nearly every animal, Including, lions, zebra, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs and many more.  One of the biggest surprises was that we took along our own chef who prepared 3 hot meals a day.  Samson's cooking was amazing.  We can highly recommend these two amazing guys to make your safari in Tanzania a trip to remember.

We booked the 5-day camping safari, which included 4 national parks, and our guide was Luther.
We wanted to highlight the logistics, the meals throughout the day (which were abundant and delicious), the vehicle that was always in perfect condition and clean, the campsites that made the experience unforgettable (since we could see animals at night and also when waking up), and the active involvement of our guide during the entire safari.

Thank you, Luther, Tito (our excellent chef), and the staff at Twiga Campsite for making our safari a magnificent and unforgettable experience.

I did a 5-day mid-range safari as a solo traveler, and it was an amazing experience. Everything was well organized from the moment I arrived at the airport until the moment I left. I always felt safe, looked after, and supported throughout the trip.

Before I arrived, I also received very helpful instructions about what to pack—like bringing warm clothes for early mornings, choosing the right colors, and having cash ready for tips. This made it much easier to prepare for the safari. It seems not all customers get this information, which is a shame, because it was truly useful.

The lodges were very comfortable and a great place to relax after long days of driving. We stayed two nights in lodges within national parks which was an incredible experience. The other two nights were at Suricata owned resort which is outside the parks but it’s so gorgeous and luxurious. During the safari our chef, Tito, cooked delicious meals every day, and it felt so special to have fresh food prepared just for us.

Our guide, Chaz, was one of the best parts of the safari. He worked really hard to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. Thanks to him, we were even lucky enough to see rhinos. He shared lots of interesting facts about the wildlife, along with personal stories that made the experience even more enjoyable.

Tanzania is a “pole pole” (slow and relaxed) country, so sometimes plans change or things can’t be explained in advance. But in the end, everything came together perfectly. I was also very impressed by how well the team managed all the logistics, especially with many tourists doing different routes, trip lengths, and staying in different types of accommodation. They always knew who needed to be where.

Overall, my safari was unforgettable, and I would recommend it to anyone. It was well planned, full of great moments, and made me feel completely safe as a solo traveler.

The Safari was really great and I would recommend everyone to do it with Suricata Safaris!
I booked a group Safari und we were such a great group with nice, young and dynamic people. Our guide Lewis was the best guide I could imagine, he told us so much about every animal we saw and also all about the national parks, trees and so on! When we were near an animal, he just gave us all the time WE needed to watch! Our chef Pius did also a great job in cooking our meals, they were just so delicious!
And I totally recommend the sleeping in a tent, it was soooo great sleeping in the nature with all the noises and zebras around your tent ❤️

An Unforgettable Safari with Suricata Safaris

We had an extraordinary experience with Suricata Safaris, exploring the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire parks. Three nights in tents immersed in the wild nature, in total safety and comfort.
Our guide Felix made the trip unique: not only for his great professionalism and passion, but because he allowed us to go beyond a simple safari. Thanks to him, we discovered the traditions, customs, and stories of the local tribes, turning the tour into a true anthropological experience.
A big applause also to Bus, who delighted us with excellent meals throughout the journey.
I highly recommend this local operator to anyone looking for an authentic, well-organized safari full of emotions!
