The perfect tour operator: safe driver, super friendly, great guide with a lot of experience
We are a family of five, two adults and three teenagers. For the first time in our lives we went on a safari trip and we were very happy that we’ve contacted Nick to organize this for us. We visited several parks in Central Kenya first (Ol Pejeta, Buffalo Springs, Mount Kenya). Then we went to the lake district and Maasai Mara. Thereafter we visited Amboseli and Tsavo. To end at Diani beach. All was perfectly organized. Nick is a great guide with a lot of knowledge about the country and all wildlife. He knows the best spots to observe animals. Thanks to him we managed to see the big 5. He is also a safe driver. And most important, he is always happy and friendly and great with kids. Nick, again thanks a lot for this amazing journey through Kenya!!

I have booked multiple trips through African Skimmer Safaris over several years. The company always provides knowledgeable guides who are friendly and professional throughout the trip. The guides are always on-time, if not early, and eager to get to know the group. The vehicles are well maintained with cold water always available. During the game drives, guides share an abundance of details about any animal we come across, from the smallest birds to the larger animals. They offer outstanding trips at a reasonable price point, whether it is a day trip from Nairobi or a longer multi-day / multi-park trip.
On my most recent trip, we did a multi-day safari, starting at the Kenya-Tanzania border and visiting Amboseli National Park and Tsavo West National Park. When arranging this trip, African Skimmer Safaris was very flexible in dealing with our dynamic travel plans. I could not have asked for a better company to work with. They effortlessly coordinated our transfer from our hotel in Tanzania to the guide at the border. Our guide was early to our pick up point on Day 1, giving a smooth start to the trip. From there we had a wonderful afternoon game drive in Amboseli, followed by a full day in the park including a picnic lunch with an amazing view. The next day we moved on to Tsavo West for another couple fantastic drives. We arrived back in Nairobi on time with no problems.

Our tour with Nick was amazing. He was very knowledgeable patient and timely. It was a jeep of six and we all had a fabulous time with Nick for 2 1/2 days going from Nairobi to Sephora Mara Safari camp. Nick also took us to the Safari to the home of the Masai Mara. We had an amazing time and we felt very comfortable with Nick who took care of us like we were his own family.
Amazing!!! Nick is very knowledgeable, always scouting for animals, excellent driver.
This was a trip of a lifetime. My husband and I celebrated our 45 th anniversary with Nick and our new friends. We asked to see lions, and Nick found them. Watched the elephants take morning walk in front of Mt Kilamojaro. So incredibly close to all the wild animals in their natural habitats. We would definitely do this trip again!!!
