Local Kenyan Safari Company With A Personal Touch
Thanks to Hyrax Safaris we had an awesome safari for just the two of us, with a completely personalized itinerary. During the planning stage, Roselyne (who happens to be an owner) responded quickly to requests at all hours of the day & night, which was amazing, given we were 7 time zones away. She put together a 10-day itinerary for a private tour that included 6 days of safari in multiple parks, including airport transfers, transportation between parks, game drives, accommodation and meals, along with a few extra "must see" attractions. (And all for a comparably competitive price.) Roselyne even met us at our hotel to introduce us to our guide Ben, who as it turned out, was exceptional. His kind care, expertise & professionalism really made our trip. He knows the parks and the animals well, and he has a great rapport with the other guides, all of which meant we saw virtually the full range of animals over the course of our safari trip. We highly recommend Hyrax Safaris. It was an exceptional trip from pick-up at the airport to drop-off 10 days later.

A reliable partner that will exceed your expectations when visiting Kenya
We selected Hyrax for our trek to Mount Kenya. This was a good choice. Hyrax set up a great team that supported us all the way to the top. The people in the team were all very friendly and looked after us with excellent service. The conditions on the mountain can be challenging but the team was always one step ahead and made sure that everything went well.
After our successful summit Hyrax put together a great safari in the National Park.

We had a wonderful week-long safari with Hyrax Safaris, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Everything was well organised, and the team was helpful and professional throughout.
Our guide, Kasaine, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, patient and friendly, and he made sure we had close but safe encounters with the animals. His passion for wildlife really made the experience special.
We saw so many incredible animals and created memories we will never forget. I would highly recommend Hyrax Safaris and Kasaine to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

Very attentive, responsive, and always available whenever we needed her.
We had a wonderful trip combining Kenya and Zanzibar, with stops in Nairobi, Nakuru and Amboseli before ending our journey in Zanzibar. Everything was well organized, from the transfers and accommodation to the different activities along the way. Communication was smooth, and our agent was very attentive, responsive and always available whenever we needed her. The itinerary offered a great mix of city experiences, wildlife and relaxation, and we especially enjoyed the safari experience in Amboseli. Overall, a very enjoyable and well-organized trip with reliable service and good value for money.
