5 Days Safari in Tanzania
Our 5-day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro was nothing short of spectacular. Every single day exceeded our expectations, from the breathtaking landscapes to the incredible wildlife encounters.
Tarangire National Park welcomed us with massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, setting the tone for what was to come. The Serengeti was absolutely magical—endless plains, dramatic sunsets, and more wildlife than we ever imagined. We were lucky enough to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and countless wildebeest. Ending the trip in the Ngorongoro Crater was the perfect finale, with its stunning views and dense concentration of animals all in one place.
What truly made this safari exceptional was our guide, Ezekiel Senkoro.
Ezekiel is an outstanding professional—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about wildlife. His ability to spot animals from incredible distances was amazing, and he always took the time to explain animal behavior, local culture, and the ecosystem. He made us feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the entire journey. His warm personality, great sense of humor, and attention to detail made the experience even more special.
The organization of the trip was seamless, the accommodations were excellent, and the daily game drives were perfectly planned to maximize wildlife sightings.
The most unforgettable safari experience thanks to the best team and guides!
I started researching safari companies back in January because going to Africa has been my dream since I was a kid. I grew up watching documentaries about the Serengeti and the great migration, always imagining what it would feel like to see it with my own eyes. For many reasons, it never happened until now, and I knew 2025 had to be the year. After 3 months of comparing options and speaking with different companies, I decided to go with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions.
From the very first conversation, Paul stood out. I consider myself a very curious and sometimes difficult client because I like to understand every detail. I asked him so many questions, and he always responded with patience, kindness, and clarity. That is exactly why I chose them. I felt taken care of from the very beginning.
As the planning went on, I invited some of my closest friends and we ended up being a group of 8. Since this was a trip I had dreamed of for so long, I had many things I wanted to experience. Paul and his team accommodated every single request. The accommodations, the day drives, the night game drives, the hot air balloon, the food, the logistics, everything was arranged perfectly. There was not a single detail that felt overlooked.
We did an 8-day safari visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, and the Ngorongoro Crater. We had two guides, Walter and James. They were both great, but I spent the most time with Walter since I was in his car. I do not even know how to fully express how grateful I am to him. He paid attention to everything. If I mentioned an animal I hoped to see, he would immediately start looking for it. He was so knowledgeable, warm, patient, and passionate about wildlife and his country. He taught us so much every day.
One of the most unforgettable moments of the entire safari happened because of him. I had always dreamed of witnessing the Great Migration, but at first it seemed unlikely because the herds were far from where we were staying. Walter never gave up. He watched the land carefully, followed tracks, understood the patterns, and somehow led us to a massive herd of what must have been 10000 wildebeest and zebras gathering to cross a river. Lions were waiting on the river bank, and the tension in the air was something I will never forget. The sounds, the movement, the uncertainty, the sheer energy of nature in that moment was incredible to witness. It was everything I had imagined as a child and more.
What stood out the most was how much Walter cared. He wanted us to experience the magic of Tanzania the way he sees it. When the safari ended and it was time to say goodbye, I actually got emotional. Having Walter as our guide made an already incredible trip even better. He played a huge role in why this experience became so meaningful.
I have visited 55 countries, and nothing compares to this trip. Africa feels powerful in a way that is hard to put into words. The landscapes, the wildlife, the silence, the unpredictability, the feeling of being so close to life in its purest form. There were moments that took my breath away. Moments I will remember forever!
Tanzania Roadside Expeditions created the perfect journey for us. From the planning stage with Paul to the final day with Walter, everything was exceptional. If I could give them 1000000 out of 5, I would.
To Paul, the entire team, and especially Walter, thank you for giving us the trip of a lifetime! If you are thinking about going on a safari, choose them. You will not regret it!!!!

Excellent client service!
Tanzania Roadside Expeditions were extremely professional. We contacted them on a family recommendation and they didn't disappoint this time around either. Paul planned a 5-day safari tailored to our needs and wants. He was very accomodating and very proactive. He helped us with all our admin procedures (e.g., visa). We particularly appreciated his clear and open communication as well as all the advice he shared to help us plan our itinerary. We highly recommend Tanzani Roadside Expeditions and will definitely use them again at the next occasion!
Solid tour guides! Ezekiel Senkoro was amazing!
We hiked Kilimanjaro and went on a safari in the Serengeti with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions. The price was very reasonable and the tour guides were outstanding. In particular, Ezekiel Senkoro was amazing. His knowledge of the Serengeti was boundless; he was in constant communication with other guides so we could have the best viewings of the big game. He anticipated their every move. He did everything he could to make our safari as memorable as possible.
All transfers were perfect.
The organizer, Paul, handled our disorganized group's constant changes well. My only complaint was that I couldn't get the flight information for a local flight across the Serengeti in time, so I only had an hour in a hotel before the safari started.
Professional and organised offering a great reasonable priced service
Tanzania roadside offered great safari packages at reasonable prices. We had 2x different drivers across Kenya & Tanzania both of which was fantastic. I would highly recommend Ezekiel and Keffa who went above and beyond on our drives.
