TL;DR
We can recommend The Shuttle Hospitality without hesitation. Communication and planning with Bob were excellent, even when our flights changed several times and we extended the safari at short notice. Richard was a fantastic driver and guide with great wildlife knowledge, a safe driving style and a very personal way of looking after us throughout the trip.
We booked our Uganda trip with The Shuttle Hospitality and had a great experience from the first contact until the end of the safari.

The communication and planning with Bob before the trip was excellent. He always replied very quickly and made the whole booking process easy and uncomplicated.
We probably tested his flexibility more than once before we even arrived in Uganda. Uganda Airlines changed our flight three times, so we had to contact Bob several times and adjust the planning. It was never a problem.
Originally, we booked the 5-Day Gorillas & Chimps Luxury Safari. Later, we decided that we wanted to spend more time in Uganda and asked Bob whether we could extend the trip. Within half a day, he had prepared an additional 3-Day Ishasha & Queen Elizabeth Luxury Safari for us, which we then added to our itinerary.
Even after arriving in Entebbe, the flexibility continued. We mentioned that we would really like to see a shoebill, and Bob managed to organise a shoebill tour for us at very short notice.
So when it comes to communication, planning and flexibility: excellent.
Bob even personally welcomed us at Entebbe Airport together with our driver and guide Richard and accompanied us to our hotel that evening. This was a very nice and personal start to the trip.
Our accommodations were No.5 Boutique Hotel in Entebbe, Chimpundu Lodge, Mahogany Springs and Ishasha Wilderness Camp. No.5 was good overall, while the other three lodges were exceptional. They were beautifully located, perfectly suited to the different parts of our trip and left very little to wish for.
Another thing we were very grateful for was that our originally planned Chimpanzee Tracking was upgraded to the Chimpanzee Habituation Experience. After having done it, we were extremely happy that we had this experience instead.
And then there was Richard, our driver and guide for the trip.
Richard was around our age – we are 30 and 26 – which made travelling together for several days even more enjoyable. It quickly felt very natural and relaxed.
At the same time, he was extremely professional and had a huge amount of knowledge about Uganda and its wildlife. During the game drives he constantly spotted animals, explained what we were seeing and positioned the vehicle so that we could get some of the best possible views and photographs.
We also really appreciated the small things. Even during meal stops and buffets, Richard did not simply disappear and leave us to figure everything out ourselves. He continued guiding us, explaining things and making sure we always knew what was going on.
The safari vehicle itself was also very good: clean, well maintained, comfortable and equipped with a fridge. Richard’s driving style was excellent as well. Even when we were travelling a little faster, we never felt unsafe.
Everything throughout the trip worked very well – transfers, activities, accommodation and organisation.
Bob made the planning easy, flexible and personal, and Richard made the actual journey through Uganda something we will remember for a very long time.
We can recommend The Shuttle Hospitality without hesitation and would happily book with them again.

My trip to Uganda was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the incredible gorilla trekking and chimpanzee encounters to visiting local community families, every day brought something special.
A huge thank you to Joan, my private driver and guide, who went above and beyond throughout the trip. Joan was knowledgeable, friendly, patient and incredibly caring, always making sure I was comfortable and enjoying every moment. Having a private guide made the experience feel very personal, and I always felt safe and well looked after.
The gorilla trekking was truly one of the highlights of my life, and seeing the chimpanzees in their natural environment was just as special. Meeting local families and experiencing a little of their everyday life also made the trip feel much more meaningful.
I’m so grateful for the memories I’ve made in Uganda and would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to see the incredible wildlife, people and beauty of this amazing country.

We had an amazing experience with The Shuttle Hospitality. Everything was extremely well organized from start to finish, and the whole trip was smooth, comfortable, and truly memorable.
A special mention goes to our driver, Francis, who was absolutely fantastic. He was professional, friendly, reliable, and always attentive to our needs. His knowledge of the country, wildlife, and the best places to visit made a huge difference to our experience.

Excellent tour operator who made our Uganda stay fantastic
We had the best experience we could have asked for in Uganda, and we’re so happy we trusted The Shuttle agency with our trip. They organized everything perfectly, from welcoming us at the airport when we arrived to dropping us off again for our departure.
We were especially lucky to have Nickson as our guide and driver. He was very professional, knowledgeable, kind, and an excellent driver. He always made sure we were comfortable and that we could fully enjoy every part of the experience, from the safari to the gorilla trekking. He really took great care of us throughout the whole trip.
We were also genuinely surprised by the kindness and hospitality of the Ugandan people in general. It made our experience even more special.

Five-Star Uganda Tour with Experts
My wife and I know Africa well. I, in particular, have been on several safaris in Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, South Africa and Madagascar. Consequently, our expectations regarding wildlife and bird watching in Uganda were high and demanding.
We chose a long journey (15-day ‘The Pearl of Africa’ Safari) and our expectations were not disappointed.
The highlights of the safari were the chimpanzee trekking and the unforgettable encounter with the mountain gorillas – an experience unlike any other in the world!
Mr Bob’s meticulous preparation and exceptional professionalism are hard to match. As for our guide, Mr Francis, he is undoubtedly an experienced guide and his eyesight is as sharp as that of an eagle or a kite, spotting even the best-camouflaged leopard or the tiniest bird.
The Ugandan people are extremely polite and kind.
I recommend Shuttle Hospitality, a reliable and competent agency, and if I ever return to Uganda (who knows?), I will travel with them again.
