From the very first day, everything was perfectly organized – flights, transfers, 4x4 cars, accommodation, meals, and every little detail we could think of. We didn’t have to worry about a thing — we simply enjoyed every moment, every landscape, and every smile.
Our guide was absolutely amazing – knowledgeable, calm, and genuinely caring. Thanks to him, we experienced the real Ethiopia — not just as tourists, but as travelers who connected with the stories, people, and spirit of this unique country.
We explored the Danakil Depression, with its otherworldly colors and salt plains, and met the Hamer and Mursi tribes in the Omo Valley, witnessing traditions and ways of life that leave a deep impression forever.
The drivers and cooks were just as wonderful – always on time, kind, and cheerful. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere throughout the trip was warm, friendly, and full of laughter.
We didn’t get to see lava, but we saw something even greater – the heart and soul of Ethiopia, shared by people who truly love their land.

We were in Addis Ababa for two days, taking advantage of a stopover on the way to China. It was a pleasant surprise for everyone in the group.
We loved getting to know Addis Ababa, a beautiful city, undergoing great expansion and will undoubtedly be the economic and political heart of Africa.

The services offered by SENAIT Ethiopia Tours, represented by Mr. Taddese Atlaw, served the Butterfly Tour group very well, offering us hotel options, a fantastic city tour and a wonderful guide, Mr. Mamush Eshetu.
