A Seamless Safari Experience from Start to Finish
We had a safari tour in Amboseli, and overall, we were very satisfied with the experience.
First of all, we were in contact with Silas from Rocktrek regarding the booking and schedule. He was always polite and clear in his communication, which made the whole process very comfortable from the beginning.
We especially appreciated how much he helped with our border crossing from Kenya to Tanzania. We initially thought we would simply be dropped off at the border, but he went beyond that and helped make sure we were properly handed over to the local taxi driver. He had already contacted the taxi driver in advance and took care of the process, so we were able to cross the border without worrying about the transportation afterward.
Our guide, Linus, was also very kind and professional. He was a good and safe driver, and he knew a lot about the animals, so he gave us many interesting explanations during the safari. He was also punctual and always tried his best to show us as many animals as possible.
We especially appreciated that he waited for us while we completed the exit and entry procedures at the border and made sure we were safely handed over to the taxi driver afterward. We were really touched by how carefully he took care of us until the very end.
Overall, we were very satisfied with the entire experience, from the booking process to the safari and the border transfer. Thank you for making our trip such a good experience!

Fantastic
From start to finish, our 7-night safari with Rocktrek Safaris Limited was fantastic. Alvin & Purity from the office worked with us to plan our trip and made sure everything was seamless—we even had a birthday cake arranged for dinner on our third night. We were very lucky with our guide, Linus, who was great company, very generous with his knowledge, and helped us see some amazing wildlife. If you are debating which company to choose for a safari, I'd highly recommend Rocktrek Safaris Limited.

Professional Tour Operator
We recently booked a last-minute 5-day safari to the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru with Rocktrek Safaris Limited with friends from the USA. From the itinerary planning to the safari itself, the team proved their professionalism. I would like to thank our tour driver-guide, Duncan, for his professionalism in handling us. We plan to use them in the future

Excellent Crisis Management & Integrity - Highly Recommended
I had a safari booked with Rocktrek, but unfortunately, my trip was disrupted at the very last minute due to the sudden closure of airspace and regional security developments.
I cannot praise Mr. Silas Lodenyo enough for his professionalism and honesty during this incredibly stressful time. Despite the 'Force Majeure' circumstances, Silas was highly responsive and acted as a true advocate for me. He worked closely with the Sarova Hotels management to ensure that my deposit was not lost, successfully securing a 12-month credit for me to utilize for a future trip.
In an industry that can be difficult to navigate during a crisis, Silas showed genuine transparency and integrity. I highly recommend Rocktrek for their excellent communication and commitment to their clients. I look forward to finally going on my safari with them next year!

Posted on Mar 6, 2026Dear Mr. Jihad,
Greetings of the day.
Glad to hear from you that we were of great help ensuring that you are able to utilize the credit at Sarova hotels ( Sarova Mara Game Camp and Sarova Lion Hill Safari Lodge ).
Kindly note that our policy as a company is to always protect our guests when such unexpected closure of airspace and regional security development happens.
Despite our mutual working arrangements/partnership with hotels our first priority is to always protect our mutual guests like you and we have been doing it for the many years.
We are happy to hear you will be re-booking the Safari with us next year in February once the regional situation has stabilized.
Once again thank you very much for your kind support.
With best regards,
Silas Lodenyo
