Professional, efficient, friendly, accomodating, and, excellant service.

From first contact the interaction with Steve was always responsive and helpful. Accommodating the requests of all 6 in our group was never too much. Sammy our guide is an above excellent driver. To the uninitiated to African driving it might feel too aggressive (as the Europeans in our group), it was professional and safe. Our viewings were a real treat and happy to see from serval cat to lion to rhino and all in between.

One negative comment I do have is concerning Nakuru lake. This is not only this particular company but all tour operators and even government official communication still promote Nakuru lake with photos of the flamingo population of 15-20 years ago. This is FALSE advertising. There has been ZERO sightings at this lake of flamingos for more than 8 years, forget about a million. Nakuru has MORE than enough to offer without using dubious advertising tactics.
Another criticism is regarding the accommodation at Sentrim Maasai Mara. Definitely NOT up to standard both relating to staff as services.

Overall, a very great experience.

Ramja Safaris were excellent, highly recommend.

We had a fabulous time on our safari with Ramja Safaris. Steve tailored the safari to suit our plans and he was always quick to respond to my questions, nothing was too much to ask. Our tour guide Patrick was helpful, knowledgeable and worked hard to ensure that we saw everything that we wanted to see. The safari itself was amazing. We saw so many animals! We saw a leopard from a few metres and so many lions up close. We were upgraded in our lodge at the Masa Mari which was so luxurious! Such a memorable and fabulous holiday.

The tour was exceptionally well-managed, providing a seamless and worry-free experience for all participants. The smooth execution of the itinerary was greatly appreciated. We were fortunate to have Eliud and Brian as our guides. We would highly recommend this tour to our colleagues.

An incredible safari

We did a 5 day safari with 4 people and had an incredible time. From the start Steve was responsive and it was easy to get the safari all booked in, which we did about 4 months in advance. Isaac was our guide and was great. We saw so many animals, and Isaac was fantastic and spotting them, and getting close while also being respectful of the animal’s space. We felt well cared for and safe in his hands. And he was helpful to others too when another Land Cruiser got stuck in the mud, he was happy to help and made sure they got out. I would be keen to book a safari again with Ramja and would highly recommend them to others!

In terms of communication, Steve was the fastest among all the safari operators.
He always responded promptly and provided detailed breakdowns of the costs.
That’s why I decided to choose Ramja without even meeting them in person.
I’ve never met him, but I trusted them to handle my special occasion within my budget 🤣

Our guide was Patrick, who has more than 13 years of safari experience.
He knew exactly the right spots and the perfect timing to find the Big Five :)
Even after more than three hours of game drive, he never slowed down and kept trying to give us the best moments!

All the lodges arranged by Ramja were amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly :)
Especially Ashnil Mara Camp — it was absolutely worth it!!
