An Experience of a lifetime
We booked 4days safari with mountain warriors - we were picked up at our hotel in zanzibar flown to Arusha where we met our fabulous guide Mbwana (and rosemary the operator). We had a private jeep which we didnt realise so it was perfect, and mbwana accompanied us throughout. Mbwana took us to the most perfect locations to see wildlife, he has an inimitable knowledge of the parks especially ngorogoro and serengeti , he knew where all the hot spots for the animals, we had some very unique experiences including a cheetah catching its food, lions feeding on a carcass and a wilderbeast giving birth, and an amazing view of a leopard none of which would be possible without Mbwanas experience and navigation of the parks. He has so much knowledge of the animals also and no question was too much for him to answer. Our lodging and meals were amazing! Each lodge packed us a hot meal for a picnic later that day and breakfasts were 10/10. We were also treated to a very special birthday surprise for my husband by the team at Marera mountain lodge in Ngorogoro. Unexpected but very appreciated.The booking of this safari was very easy, so easy we were apprehensive after paying the deposit as we received no follow up requests - and we were afraid we would lose pur spot- however the people at mountain warrior bookings are just very easy going, once we contacted them they sent the link immediately, you can pay anywhere up to a few days before. We were panicking, they were not. It was very smooth start to finish. We had an experience of a lifetime and for this we found it great value for money. You get experiences that are priceless. We were taken back to Arusha airport to return to Zanzibar and again met by a driver arranged by Mountain warriors to take us to our destination hotel. Amazing service!!!! Once you book, they take care of the rest. Flights to and from, transfers, private guide, meals, water all included in safari price.

My husband and I had an amazing Safari experience in Tanzania managed by Mountain Warriors and guided by the professional and supportive John. We visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire and spotted all animals. We recommend Mountain Warriors and John for an unforgettable experience.

A Memorable Experience
In short, a memorable experience. Mountain Warriors (MW) team were very professional from the planning phase until the drop off to our hotel at the end.
Ruth provided us the initial quotation and was responsive to all our queries timely. Upon initial payment, Ruth shared the confirmations to the flights and accomodations.
We got picked up from our hotel in Zanzibar and took flights to our Safari starting point. We started our Safari in Serona Sengreti where we met our wonderful guide John. Although our schedule in Sengreti was short, we were able to spot Big Five and Big Cats thanks to John's experience. We have spent the night in Warriors Luxury Tented Lodge. The experience of sleeping in the wild was amazing. The team were super protective and attentive to our satisfaction (Sudi and Edison).
On our second day, we visited Ngorongoro Crater and were able to get good shots of the Rhinos. John managed our schedule really well and accommodated all our requests kindly. We then spent the night at Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge. The place was full of trees and the breeze brushing against them just felt refreshing. The Lodge's team were very professional.
On our last day, John and MW's team were very helpful in adjusting our flight time. We visited Tarangire where we spotted more lions and elephants.
Overall, I would recommend Mountain Warriors as a group and John specifically as a guide to all people thinking about Safari in Tanzania.
