Very organized with great attention to detail

We booked the Mkomazi 2D1N with Geofrey from Promised Land Tours and it was awesome!Geofrey was always fast and clear with communication. Ali picked us up at our hotel and stayed with us through the drop back in Arusha. Ali was extremely knowledge and experienced (20 years!) with the game drives through Mkomazi and also very personable. He taught us a lot about the animals and about Tanzania. We saw giraffes, zebras, black monkeys, oryx, elephants, lions, dik dik, among many other wildlife. We got to see the wild dogs up close which was amazing! We also saw black rhinos up close in the special enclosure. We also learned a lot about the conservation efforts for the wild dogs and rhinos. The lodge was Mkomazi Wilderness Retreat which was a very cool and unique accommodation inside Mkomazi NP. The food was delicious and the room super clean and comfortable. Our package was the Mkomazi day trip plus the overnight extra at Mkomazi Wilderness Retreat. We were there
25–26 Sep 2026. Mkomazi is a quiet park without the northern-circuit crowds and we barely saw any other tourists. Would recommend and book again.

Stunning first exposure to safari

Short (2 day) safari comprising visits to Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire NP, with remainder of stay in Zanzibar.

Safari was excellent, provided by Promised Land Tours. Mary was superb in organising and our driver (forgot his name!) Was knowledgeable and very friendly.

Would highly recommend going with Promised Land Tours. Would definitely choose again.

Brilliant Arusha NP experience

This was an amazing introduction to Safari in Tanzania. Firstly, all of the communication with Geofrey at PLT was prompt, transparent and filled me with confidence. He was flexible to our requirements and built a brilliant package which needed to accommodate our group ranging from 15 years to 80 years old. We chose Arusha National Park as an introductory Safari - the park is closer to Arusha and far less busy than Tarangire, Ngorongoro etc. We were expecting a walking tour and canoe trip but we also got a full game drive as well and saw so many different animals and birds. The guides and rangers (Ben, Ayesha, Oscar and Rocky) were all so friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend ANP and Promised Land Tours for anyone looking to come to Tanzania.

Fantastic Value Safari with Outstanding Service(Zanzbiar>Mikumi)

We booked a safari from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. I contacted many operators beforehand and Promised Land Tours was one of the most competitive on price—considerably cheaper than many others. Honestly, I don’t believe you would get anything significantly better for paying the higher prices elsewhere.

Everything was very well organised from start to finish. They arranged collection from our hotel, the flights, and our transfer back from the airport at the end. We were met at the park by our guide, who was absolutely brilliant—knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the wildlife. I would highly recommend him.

There were nine of us on the shared safari, and funnily enough we had all met on the plane on the way over! We had such a great group, and the atmosphere with the driver and guide made it even more enjoyable.

The wildlife sightings were incredible. It was close to calf and cub season, so we saw elephants, baboons, zebras, giraffes, lions, gazelles, wildebeest, buffalo, impalas and hippos—many of them with young. We got amazingly close to the animals, which made the experience unforgettable.

As a special touch, they even organised a birthday cake for my son at lunchtime, which was such a thoughtful surprise.

Overall, fantastic service, great value for money, and an unforgettable safari experience. Highly recommended!

They showed us all possible

Very good communication regarding every aspect of booking: planning, payment etc. Very skilled driver found all we wanted to see icluding cheetah, leopard and rhino. We were on 3 days tour to Serengeti and Ngorongoro, on return plane to Arusha airline couldn't take our luggage and Company's Manager brought it for us, to Moji, expecting nothing in return- so much appreciated.
We highly recommend Promised Land Tours service, especially taking under account the fact that their prices are better than other companies.
