Arusha National Park is located a few kilometers northeast of Arusha town. It covers Mt Meru, the second-highest peak in Tanzania, with an area of 137 square kilometers. Despite its small size, it has a wide variety of wildlife, including flamingo, giraffe, elephant and zebra. It also has some geographical formations that resulted from volcanic eruptions many years ago, including the great Momela Lake and the Ngurudoto Crater, where you will have a walking safari.
