Excellent Service and Trip Planning

Booked with Viatu after recommendations online.
Simone was our go to trip organiser and produced 3 excellent iterations for us to discuss. Having decided on our iteration she then produced a complete itinerary including photos of planned stops, activities at each stop and travel directions for our 2466 km journey through Namibia.
She was always available for questions prior to departure talking us through visa applications and health requirements.
On arrival our baggage had not arrived and was not being delivered by SAA to our accommodation in Windhoek. One call to Simone and the bags were delivered the very next day! Without her intervention we would have missed an entire day of trip.
The trip itself was exactly as described and each stop just got better and better. Quality of accommodation and friendliness of staff was outstanding and shows the care that Viatu place in accommodating their clients.
Thank you Simone, thank you Viatu.

We worked with Ronan at Viatu who was so helpful and attentive from start to finish.
Ronan was happy and quick to answer any questions we had, no matter how basic.
Ronan recommended we visit the beautiful mFulaWozi Wilderness Private Game Reserve for our first safari and it did not disappoint. |
It's a wonderful place, with great staff and attention to detail.

During the trip, Ronan was great to communicate making sure all our travel needs were met and going smoothly.
We felt at ease throughout the whole trip thanks to Ronan's work before and during our trip.
We will definitely be working with Ronan again.

After filling request on Safaribooking site, we have got a message from Viatu about contact to talk about our expectations and budgets. I’ve got phone call from Viatu and I was pleased about their interest of ours expectations, our interests with this trip, and most important our budget. They asked about our preferences and promised to find the best option for our budget.
We have got a suggestion and overview of journey. It took some time for us to check out and decide, and Viatu was patient and explained things if we asked. They changed trip and accommodation as we wished. After paying, we’ve got a lot of information and advice from Viatu about car rent and insurance and other practical things.
Almost all accommodations were wonderful, as described in itinerary, except one in Swakopmund, that was nice, but cold, without heating. Itinerary was good adjusted for our preference to stay at places for two-three nights. Accommodations were a little bit remote, but quite short distance from destinations. So it was just fine.
We have visited the best highlights in Namibia and we love this country! It was fantastic journey, so we are already planning to come back to Namibia 🤩 .
As we got this trip within our budget, we got great value for money in this nice luxury accommodations and all the destinations. We didn’t get the best car, Suzuki was may be cheaper than other cars, but was okay. Next time we will choose better car. 😉

We had an awesome trip in Namibia. Mardi took care of everything. There were some confusion regarding the car rental initially but it was sorted out quickly and we had an awesome time in Namibia.
