We offer all types of safaris: traditional driving safaris to all Tanzania National Parks, mountain climbing expeditions, trekking and walking safaris, and beach holidays.

Memorable 4-Day Safari with Meru Slopes – Highly Recommended!

I recently completed a 4-day safari with Meru Slopes and had a fantastic experience. From start to finish, I felt well taken care of by Jerome, who was always available and answered all my questions promptly. His communication was outstanding and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
Our... Read more driver, Daniel, was outstanding—his 25+ years of experience really showed. He drove safely and always made sure we had plenty of time to take photos whenever we spotted wildlife. Thanks to him, we saw 4 out of the Big 5, missing only the elusive leopard. It truly felt like a dream come true!
A special mention to Meru Slopes for providing complimentary transportation and a night at the hotel before the safari began. This thoughtful gesture ensured we were well-rested and ready for our adventure in the morning.
Our cook, Doula, was very kind and ensured we were well-fed. While there wasn’t a huge variety in the meals, the food was good and satisfying. The camping equipment provided was decent, though the sleeping bags and pillows could have used a bit more cleaning.
Overall, I am happy to give a 5-star review because of the amazing communication with Jerome and the excellent transportation and accommodation provided. Thank you to the Meru Slopes team for an unforgettable adventure!

Our guide Robert was amazing! He made a huge effort every day so we could see all the animals. His experience and knowledge were very valuable, because he was able... Read more to choose and put us always in the best spots. He quickly adapted to our group and knows a lot about all the animals and where to find them. He also drove to more far away and remote places so we could see the animals in their habitats without other jeeps nearby, which gave us a very special experience.

Gideon cooked the best food, tasted like grandma’s food, it felt like we were home, and he was always kind, happy and energetic! We were very spoiled by him!

We already miss them both! If you can choose your guide and cook, ask for them and you will not regret.

Every other guide, cook and driver that we met were also very kind and helpful. They always put the best word about Meru Slopes, it was nice to hear that they also like working with you!

We will for sure be back! And when we do, it will be with Meru Slopes!

The communication from the beginning was 10/10, I thought, attentive and quick to answer any questions, they helped us with everything we needed, they picked us up from the airport and we stayed at their hotel in the center of Arusha. The safari was a true marvel. Our guide Enru had over 25 years of... Read more experience in his work and it was amazing how with his eyes he could see many animals in the distance. We were able to see practically all the animals, we missed seeing the leopard since it is very difficult to see, but the rest we saw everything. Chef Gardiola accompanied us during the safari days and every day we had breakfast, lunch and dinner with authentic and delicious local food. Finally, we had a tour of the city of Arusha with Victor and if the safari experience was already unforgettable, the tour with Victor was the icing on the cake. He showed us everything we wanted to see, we ate at local places and lived the experience to the fullest. We took a great friend from Tanzania with us as he was undoubtedly exemplary. Everything he did was clearly done from the heart and we couldn't feel more at home.
It's definitely worth the price you pay. There are many companies that offer even less and are more expensive. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Mery Slopes Tours and I will recommend it to anyone who asks, as everything went fantastically beyond our expectations.

Our experience was truly incredible, one we will remember for the rest of our lives! Starting with the attention we received before and after the tour from Gift Tembo and the drivers who picked us up in Kilimanjaro airport and left us in Moshi, all included. Camping experience was the best, hearing the... Read more sounds of different animals at night and sharing with beautiful people. Our driver for the safari was Robert, an unimaginable source of knowledge and excellent professional, taking us everywhere with passion, he showed us the parks as we wouldn’t have dreamed of, from seeing lion cubs to a live hunting. Also, we had special diet requirements that the chef, Gideon, took into serious consideration but also combined with the best flavors.
We are very very happy of having chosen this great team, we couldn’t ask for more in any way! Thank you guys for everything!
