Nhlalala is in Shangaan language translated to y bird. Is a common and most significant bird for any African herdsmen in African folklore. In the golden years where wealth was measured by livestock, young men had to go to the wild to look after livestock. When the young were out in the wild, one of the birds to interact was Nhlalala. It became a most valuable friend of the herdsmen as it is known for guiding human nature into Bee colonies. The bird guidance has increased honey-hunters' rates.

The tour operator was professional, made the entire trip seamless and enjoyable from start to finish
First of all, I want to mention Norman, who was responsible for picking us up and dropping us off these past few days. He is a very responsible, kind, and patient person. The drive to and from Kruger was very long, but he always stayed lively and chatted with us, sharing many interesting things and some local stories. When we were having breakfast, even though he had arrived early, he wouldn't disturb us and chose to wait until we finished eating — he is so considerate! So I think this trip wouldn't have been so wonderful without him. Next is the hotel, which also left a deep impression on us. As someone who has lived in the city for years, staying at a hotel that focuses on the natural environment was a very novel experience for me. At dinner, there were some local cultural performances that were also very enjoyable to watch. The only slight regret was not seeing leopards during the safari, but I wasn't disappointed by that, because that's the magic of nature. I think no matter what living creature I see, it's a kind of blessing for me! All in all, this is a highly recommended tour operator!
Fantastic experience, incredible service
Our trip with Nhlalala Travel was excellent. They offered flexibility in where and when they collected us, accommodating flight times that other firms wouldn't and even rescheduling some of our activities when our flight was delayed. They were very communicative in the lead up to our trip and Khongi, our guide, was amazing throughout, ensuring that we were always having fun and providing real context to our trip through our discussions. The panoramic tour was also a brilliant addition to the safari and made for a unique trip. 5 star experience, great value for money, highly recommended.

An unforgettable safari experience
We joined this safari from Japan, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience!
Even though we booked the tour at the last minute, Norman was very responsive and helpful throughout the booking process, which we really appreciated.
Our driver, Knowledge, was incredibly kind and thoughtful, and he took great care of us throughout the journey. During the drive from Johannesburg to Kruger National Park, he told us so many interesting things about the local towns, plants, and South African food, which made the long journey enjoyable as well.
Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see a leopard, but we were lucky enough to see all of the other Big Five animals! We were especially excited to see elephants and buffalo up close — it was such an incredible experience.
We had an amazing time and made memories that we will never forget. Thank you so much to Norman, Knowledge, and the whole team for making our trip so special!
