Our tours' main thrills are the surrounding wilderness, the remoteness and the seclusion of travelling through rarely-seen areas. When guided, the tour guide and field guide(s) (when applicable) will provide the necessary interpretation en route and ensure your safety.

Kalagadi was an amazing experience. We traveled around the south end and saw many birds of prey as well as two female lioness's. Johan lead the tour in a very professional manner. All our questions got answered. Our evening fires were lit and the conversations just came naturally. We really enjoyed our trip and will certainly go with Bonsai- SA again

We had the pleasure of touring with Johan and Elna, and the experience exceeded expectations. From the moment we met them, their polite and respectful demeanor made everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. They demonstrated deep knowledge of the area and its history, clearly drawing from years of experience in the field.
What truly stood out was his professionalism — always punctual (without feeling pressured), well-prepared, and attentive to each guest’s needs.
On top of it all, they both brought great energy and warmth to the group, with a natural talent for storytelling that made every stop memorable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a thoughtful, engaging, and expertly guided tour.

Johan and Elna were wonderful hosts on our fantastic safari experience in December 24

From escorting us to the park, to planning and supporting our activity they were professional but friendly throughout
