We visited Windhoek,Etosha, Swakopmund, and Sossusvlei. My wife has special dietary requirements and every place was accommodating helpful and kind. The organised tours were excellent. The recommended restaurants were very good and the lodges we stayed at were outstanding. Marco was communicative and available when we needed him. We would use Southbound again.

Excellent organisation , perfect service, great guidance, met all of our expectations

We asked SouthBound tours to organize a voyage to the Victoria Falls and Botswana by plane . They proposed several camps and locations in accordance with our budget .
The tour fully met our expectations . We were picked up by our pilot at Livingstone , we visited the falls an then flew to King’s Pool in Linyanti .Luxury suites , amazing wildlife, very friendly people and excellent food. We fell asleep with the sound of hippos in the lagoon.
Then further on to Camp XakanaXa in the heart of Moremi game reserve and Camp Okavango . Stunning landscapes , safari tours by jeep or water game-viewing. Lots of birds but also hippos , leopards and lions. The last camp was Jack’s camp in the Makgadikgadi Pans, a wonderful experience. We had the opportunity of watching the migration of hundreds of wildebeest and zebras. To drive on the Pans , to meet Bushmen and finally to meet meerkats . All the time our pilot accompanied us . He organised some surprises for us : a special dinner , a braai , a special ride . He really tried to fulfill all our wishes . The whole voyage fully met our expectations . It was a once a lifetime experience ! Thanks to an excellent organisation !

Every challenge was mastered

2021/2022 the Corona years.

The plans for our 3rd southbound tour were canceled at short notice due to the corona pandemic because entry into Namibia was not possible, but we were able to take place again after Namibia opened and we were very happy that the entire tour was possible 10 days before departure trip could take place at short notice.

There was always someone available to answer our questions.

We were happy and grateful to be able to do this tour again privately with two people without having to worry about getting sick.

All selected hotels were perfectly prepared and it was very nice to be able to experience the highlights from previous tours again.

Many thanks to southbound tours for the perfect implementation. You were always safe in the air and it certainly wasn't the last tour.

Hilton Windhoek - Alte Villa Lüderitz - Fish River Lodge - Sonop Lodge - Omaanda Lodge
