We had the most amazing experience with Southbound Tours on our self-drive safari through Namibia from 18 September to 6 October 2026! Every single one of our wishes was taken into account during the planning, and everything went absolutely smoothly — from accommodation and activities to transfers and all the little details in between. The team's extensive knowledge and experience of Namibia, its wildlife, and travelling around the country were evident throughout and gave us great confidence. They were always available, incredibly supportive, and provided such personal service with exceptional attention to detail. We felt safe, well cared for, and truly like absolute royalty! I booked a 13-day self driving tour to Namibia for me and my wife with Southbound tours last October and it was perfect!

As a Brazilian, I did not know many people who had contacts with operators in Namibia, so I trusted the reviews of other travelers and chose Southbound tours for this trip.

Despite always being a bit nervous when booking high-ticket services online with suppliers I never met personally, Marco and Desiree quickly proved that my concerns were not necessary.

From the initial communication, preparing the trip according to my requests and giving us support once we got to Namibia, Southbound exceeded all my expectations.

Marco truly understood our tastes and preferences and quickly adjusted our schedule to make sure that we would make the best out of this trip.

Such a lovely team and such a memorable trip! Marco was always patient and professional while we were planning the itinerary, and Drey was super helpful throughout the journey. Our driver and guide Boyckey was honestly amazing, so easygoing, kind and always happy to help, genuinely made the whole journey even more enjoyable. We always felt comfortable and in good hands with him. Really glad we travelled through Namibia with them. Would happily recommend!

I'm extremely happy with the service provided by Marco and Desiree from Southbound Tours all long during planning as well as travelling phase.

Itinerary itself was tailored made for our preferences in terms of destinations, the scheduling as well as attractions. Even though it was intense in terms of coverage versus time available, there was still room to have some rest to recharge batteries. We have been provided with useful recommendations as for accommodation and restaurants. Car was very reliable and comfortable for the long drives, no single issue on a way and also equipped with 2 spare wheels and fuel supply.

Marco and Desiree were very responsive during the stay and also supportive in terms of arrangements.
