Excellent!
Destination specialists were an amazing company to go in a safari with! They provided an ample, delicious lunch under a bamboo shelter overlooking the lake where the cape buffalo and warthogs came to drink. We saw the baboons, giraffes, zebras and baboons up close from the vehicle. Our guides were very knowledgeable of the species we saw and took their time answering our questions. I highly recommend Destination Specialists for your East African safari!

Local company that can show you the non-touristy places - we had the best experience!
My family and I went on a seven days tour with destination specialist in January 2023. The very experienced guides took us to see small villages and on safari. We had the best days we could have wished for. All the guides were very kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the animals, culture and history of Tanzania.
Since destination specialist is a local company we were able to get some amazing experiences in places that tourist do not normally go. One guide took us to his home town a Maasai village in the mountains. It was tailored for our needs and we got to see a perfect mix of safari, local culture and history on the tour.
I like that the company is local and hire local people so we were not supporting a large overseas company. The price was also very fair compared to other operators. Will give my best recommendations for destination specialist.
